I purchased several of these switches to manage navigation lights and a bilge pump in a small skiff I bought for my son. The switches are of excellent quality, and the installation instructions are very clear. The LED indicator, which lights up when pressed, appears to be suitable for most applications. I am delighted with my purchase and would recommend it to others seeking similar products.

Good quality switch. Works fine and according to the description. I’m just not good at understanding this stuff.With this switch you have the blue circuit closed and the yellow circuit open. Then you push the button and the yellow circuit closes and the blue circuit opens. In other words, you switch power from one device to another. I suppose it could be used to switch off low beams and on high beams, then push the button to switch off high beams and on low beams. Something is always on and then the other off until you push the button and flip it.The red and black wires are for the led light on the switch itself. They don’t affect the outcome of what the switch powers.Unfortunately I wanted a switch that controls two circuits in a different way - both on or both off. I believe this is called DPST - double pole single throw. This switch might also be a Dpst but it’s one on and one off instead of both on and both off.Anyway hope this helps others out there that are electrically challenged like me.

The media could not be loaded.  The LED halo is bright enough to see even with my bed lights on. I’m very happy with how these look. I had to add these switches myself because GMC didn’t think anyone would like to turn on the bed lights from the bed.

Writing this review to help others so they don’t run into the problem I did, that took forever to figure out. The instructions don’t mention how to wire a grounded circuit which is what is needed to use the switch for this purpose. If that is your situation it should be wired as follows: Blue Wire (4) to device (trunk wire) Blue wire (3) and Black ground to car ground wire. Red wire to (power) headlight switch or dimmer to only turn on the led in the switch on when the headlights are on. Yellow wires are not used and can be de-pinned if you want them out of the way or just tape them up. This is what you must do if you need to ground a circuit with the switch versus power a circuit. Not a common situation but one the instruction should cover. This makes a great trunk button in my mustang and looks factory once installed.

Only issue is it doesn’t come with a wire diagram. But simple enough to figure it out

I PURCHASED TO OF THESE. ONE FOR A SSPARE IF THIS FIRST ONE BREAKS OR MALFUNCTIONS. GOOD TO ALWAYS HAVE A SPARE SINCE YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PERMANENT HOLE INTO YOUR DASH. THE SWITCH OPERATED SMOOTHLY AND THE LED LIGHT IN THE SWITCH IS BRIGHT. THE ONLY THING THAT I GAVE UP ON WERE THEIR WIRING INSTRUCTIONS. JUST THROW AWAY THE WIRING INSTRUCTIONS AND HOOK UP AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD. IF YOU FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS YOU WILL JUST BLOW THE FUSE OVER AND OVER. OTHER THAN MESSED UP HOOK UP INSTRUCTIONS THE SWITCH IS VERY NICE.

Haven't installed them yet, but they look great. A little expensive.

Looks like we'll built. Instructions were easy to understand. Only thing was the size of hole to drill was only written in metric. I had to go back to the products description on Amazon to find measurement in imperial.

Nice switch, seems like good quality but it will only thread on to an 8mm panel even though the description says 10mm. My panel is 10mm and I took too long to drill the hole and discover I cannot thread it on without machining a countersink. I didn't think that the description in the listing was inaccurate. Too bad
