Healthier food for my parrot.
Food seems great. Took a week or so for my parrot to get used to it, but I would mix it with his old food and now he eats it. The vet that last saw him, recommend it for a healthier eating.

Harrison’s is quite simply the best!
The item came in a fair amount of time; was running late, but then arrived 4 days before its projected new arrival date. The package and food were in good shape, and I especially liked that it came in five separate 5lb bags, vs one 25lb bag. It is easier to deal with that way, and I feel that the food stays fresh for a longer period of time.As always, Harrison’s Bird Pellets have long been considered the best nutrition by avian vets, and as an avian veterinary assistant and bird caretaker of 28 years, I stand by that claim.

Great bird food
This bird food is good for older birds and females that lay eggs. My bird LOVES it. Only wish I had, would be the size of the Course Pellet. Wish there was a "between" size from the Fine Pellet and the Course Pellet. My bird makes less mess with other varieties that are half the size of the Course Pellet. Overall great choice for bird food!

Picky eater approved
I have struggled for 2 years trying to get my blue and gold macaw to get into a pellet diet. Her previous pellet brand was Zupreem and she never liked it.She was recently diagnosed with atherosclerosis. It’s fatty plaque in her arteries near the heart. This is caused from mainly eating a seed based diet. When I found this brand, I wasn’t sure if she would reject it the same way she did with the Zupreem brand. But because this brand is certified organic and doesn’t have any nasty chemicals, she absolutely loved it.I feed her 2tbs in the morning, 2tbs in the afternoon and 2tbs at night, for a total of 6tbs per day. I still feed her seeds but no more than 2tbs per day. Otherwise, the lack of variety could bore her and make her want to reject the pellet diet again. In the past, she struggled with gaining weight and was always underweight. After about a week eating this pellet brand she has gained healthy weight and has reached her recommended weight range!I have had nothing but good results with this product and I’m greatly pleased with it! This brand will definitely be my new favorite brand of pellets.

Picky Eater Loved This
Inherited a junk food addicted, feather plucking, slightly under weight 30 y/o Congo African Grey from a family member earlier this year. For the last 5 years he's been on a diet of seed, potato chips and snack cakes due to his caretaker's declining health making it too hard to feed the bird properly. Prior to that he got a very healthy diet of veggies and fruit. He used to eat everything and loved it.Now he is extremely picky and I had a hard time finding healthy things that he would eat. These were recommended by other exotic bird owners and I was wary of trying them because the bird didn't seem to be a fan of pellets at all. But I don't regret trying it and had nothing to worry about. My bird immediately devoured these. Whatever is in them, he's a huge fan.I mix them with a veggie puree so that he's getting all the nutrients he needs. His feathers are growing back in and he's happier, more talkative and a lot more active. I'm sure this food is contributing to his improved health, along with sunlight, attention, and toys to destroy.Long story short, my bird is crazy about this food.

happy Birds
If they're happy, I'm happy. If it was MY food, I'd give it five stars.

Big hit!
My CAG is the pickiest eater of any animal I’ve ever met. He loves this stuff and can’t get enough of it. Definitely a staple at our house!

We are hoping Harrison's can help~ Have heard good things!
We just accidentally switched our birds to Harrison's. I hda an old bag, at least ayear old, but sealed, in the air-tight bucket I keep the bird's pettlets in. I keep them in sealedbags. Anyway, I was running out of the colored Zupreem, the pellet of choice for 16 years, andI started mixing with the other pellets I had: Harrison's, Roudybush and LaFebre's and another one I forget the name of.I have tried Harrison's before, but not all of the birds would eat it, although it was vet-recommended,and it is too expensive for them to throw at each other! This time, though, they ate it! First one, then another! So I started feeding then the different "boring -colored"pellets, also thinking about a possible food-coloring allergy that perhaps one of our Goffins might have,She has plucked and chewed her feathers for 14 years, and we have literally tried everything, even a hypo-allergenicpellet that none of them would touch. (rice-based) It is so bad recently, (spring?) that she chewed off her tail feathersand looks skeletal. I was considering a cone, but she has had seizures in the past, and stress makes her worse. Now I am thinking the Harrison's might help a lot, unless her behavior is strictly nervous behavior (as it seems) oritchy dry skin (we ARE in CO) which I am giving her Benedryl for when it seems too bad. She has two tail feather growing back. Iam trying not to worry about them or hope for too much. I try not to remember how beautiful she was when fully-feathered. One day at a time, but hoping for the best. Her names is Bubo (means owl) from the Clash of the Titans. She is a little doll.
