Simple but very effective...
Definitely one of those 'why didn't I get one before' items.I've struggled with a couple of small (favourite) pans on our gas stove for some time now, which you have to get 'just right' for them to sit properly. The ring/support here however has cured the problem completely. The bottom of the rest has different slots cut out in various places, in order to accommodate different makes/models of stoves. It was a bit of trial-and-error at first to find the correct alignment, but once done it feels solid and very stable.I used this as soon as I had unboxed it basically, and although sometimes you may get an odour from anything new like this that is heated right up, there was nothing at all that I could sniff.Good stuff, and on a quality/value-for-money basis.... 5-Stars.

Makes small pans much easier to use and more stable on a gas hob
This review is for "Gocoffun Cast Iron Wok Support Ring, Non Slip Gas Ring Reducer for Moka Pot Coffee Pot Small Saucepan, Reducer Ring Holder Trivets Extender for Gas Hob Stove."This is an excellent cast iron hob ring for added stability for small pans , coffee makers etc. It fits perfectly on my gas hob, and means I can now easily use small pans that normally fall over or needed to be balanced really carefully. It also comes with a large "S" hook so it can be hung up on my pot hanging rack when not being used.I'm very happy and recommend this with five stars. The price at the time of review was around £12 including a 6% onscreen voucher - reasonable value.

Very solid cast, hob extender.
This gas hob extender, come trivet. It's exceptionally well made. It is made of solid cast iron, and is quite heavy for its size. This makes it incredibly stable, over the thinner versions that you can find on the market. It was very easy to fit, and gave improves stability. Being that it is made of solid cast metal, it also holds the heat well which you've proves the performance of your gas cooker. Overall a very good, very stable piece of kit.

Solide et s’adapte bien avec les encoches
Fait bien sur le poêle de camping propane qui risquait de laisser la cafetière se renverser

Provides good stability and more heat
This cast iron ring does a good job of keeping a round bottom wok centered. It doesn't cradle the wok, as conventional wok rings do, and that's a good thing. It puts the bottom of the work directly over the burner of a gas stove, and allows the flames to make contact along the sides.Home stoves will never have the BTU output that most restaurant kitchens do, which is the primary obstacle to achieving the same cooking results-most building codes don't allow for that level of heat intensity. But this ring is a step in the right direction. Most woks sold these days are flat bottomed, which don't receive much lateral heat from a gas stove, and none at all from an electric or induction stove. When used in combination with a round bottom, carbon steel wok over a gas flame, the ring allows more of those flames to make contact, and the results show. Still not perfect, but much better than a cradle that keeps the wok too far from the heat source.Recommended.

Great for butane stoves but doesn’t fit every stove grate.
This is great for butane stoves, giving you the ability to cook with smaller pots but also gives you extra stability with larger pots. The grate is made of cast iron so is very strong and sturdy but it’s also pretty light weight thanks to its thin design. The material and design makes me confident I can easily put a full large pot on it without issue. The design pattern of the ridges and edges makes it fit securely onto the grates of my butane camping stove. If put properly, the grate doesn’t slide around very much. That being it doesn’t fit alls grate designs as I tired using it on my home stove but the grates on that didnt fit the pattern and the grate was too thick to fit into the edges of this grate.Overall it’s a great grate for stoves with smaller more open grates such as for camping stoves but will most likely not work on larger home stoves.

Good product
It was almost a foregone conclusion that I would like this cast iron trivet device. I have a long time fondness for anything made of cast iron. The trivet is a very practical item to have in the kitchen, and almost a necessity for anyone using a gas stove. THe burner rings seem to be designed for larger cookware, and small pots and pans have a tendency to tip. At best, this is likely to make a mess, and at worst, it could result in someone getting burned or scalded. It turns out that the trivet is not a perfect fit for my burner grates. At least, it does not click or lock into position, and I tried several times, turning it over and trying to find a way to make it fit as intended, but no success. However, it does sit nicely on top of the grates, and really does do a good job at stabilizing smaller pots and pans. In addition, I plan to use it as a countertop trivet for holding hot cookware. Even though this item definitely is cast iron, it does not have the heft of the traditional cast iron that I have always used. I don't know if the difference in weight is due to a different manufacturing process, or just the fack that the iron is not as thick. In any case, it seems very strong and sturdy, and will probably last several lifetimes if not allowed to rust. I would be happier if the trivet had been a proper fit on my stove, but it still works very well, and I think it is a good product.
