Challenging Puzzle
This puzzle was an extremely challenging one. And I loved it! If you need a puzzle that truly challenges your mind, this is the puzzle for you. I can usually complete a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle in three days, but this one was a welcome change!

Love the challenge, don't like the cheaty pieces or boxing
I DESPISE these new letters manufacturers are putting on the backs of puzzles to help you finish it! If you wanted to divide the puzzle up into 6 sections to make it easier, buy a puzzle with fewer pieces! Buy a 250-piece puzzle. Buy a 100-piece puzzle. Whatever - just don't bother doing one section at a time on a large puzzle to make it easier. You're skipping the challenge, which is the whole idea of a 1,000+ piece puzzle!Another issue I'm having with these puzzles are that the images for the puzzle are wrapped around all four sides of the box. The way we did puzzles as a kid is start by separating the edge pieces. The rest go in the box. You use the bottom of the box to hold them while the top of the box sits upright, perpendicular to the bottom. This way you can see the finished image to help you figure out what might go where. You DON'T use the letters on the back, you DON'T work on any one section at a time, and IF the puzzle is one that has "flat pieces" in the center, then that's just a bigger challenge. The ONLY help you get, is the image of the puzzle on the box. But I can't even do that now because the image goes around the sides, so when I set it up, I don't get the whole picture!ASIDE FROM THAT, the pieces were cut very well and the only ones "stuck" together probably got hooked on to each other during transit. When they were stuck like that, the pieces were not *supposed* to be adjacent to each other, and/or one would be flipped upside down. So it was clear the pieces were properly cut, which is a good thing. And so far it seems all pieces were there as well. While doing the edges, I realized I had mis-sorted one edge piece but it was in the box with all of the non-edge pieces, so it wasn't missing. I just sorted it wrong.Overall, a decent puzzle. BUT STOP IT WITH THE CHEATING LETTERS and put the entire puzzle image on the FRONT of the box!

Vivid Colors!
This was bought as a gift for my 11 yr granddaughter. Taken the box, we saw that the pieces were as shown on box, if not better. Very good buy.
