I was getting small sediment deposits in my toilet tanks from the well water. Faucets and shower heads would also clog. This filter cleared up my water. Now my tanks and fixtures are clean. It gets the job done and has lasted over a month with no problems.

So I double checked to make sure that the bottom and top of the filter housing was biting into these at the right spots so as to force water to flow through the filter medium and not around. These did indeed seal well based on the indentation marks and seem just as well made as others I have used. If the price is right, then I don't have an issue with recommending them.

This Locofiltr 5 Micron 10" x 4.5" melt blown polypropylene whole house water filter seem to be doing a very good job on my well water.The melt blown plypropylene filter material reduces the presence of sediment, dirt, scale and rust down to 5 microns.
