Walker Tape No Shine Bonding Double-Sided Tape Walker 1/2 X 12 Yards

This product is a game changer when it comes to tape in extensions! I have used it twice now to reinstall my extensions and each time it has lasted over a month. With other brands I was struggling with them constantly slipping out during hair washing and blow drying. I did not lose one extension with this tape. Bonus. The glue and plastic do not separate at all so you aren’t left with a piece of plastic in your hair. It removes easily with 90% rubbing alcohol. There’s some residue left over but it can be washed and combed out. I might have some sticky areas after but 1-2 washes and it’s gone.

So far I am loving this! I have had this tape in my hair for about 2 weeks now and it's just as strong as the day I put it in! I am serious. I wish someone would've told me about this tape a long time ago! It has helped my self esteem tremendously! I had long blonde hair and decided to try to rock a short cute messy bob cut and it was not for me at all....but with this product...You can't even see the tape at all. I am super skeptical about reviews and products unless I actually have tried it out myself. And as for this tape it is an absolute game changer! I am a Master cosmetologist and I specialize in hair color art. I would highly recommend this tape from anything as small as peek-a-boo colors to all over full head extentions! I Love, Love, Love this tape and the best part is that other people see my hair and how gorgeous it looks and feels and the appointments for this are rolling in! I have tape-in extensions. My extensions are also 30" long & I have 40 wefts in my hair. It is HEAVY. I have tried countless other brands of tape. None of them compare to the stickiness of this tape. It is PERFECT. The quality of the tape is the 2nd most important thing to how long tape-in extensions will hold/last. I am a week in & the tape holds like I put the extensions in 10 seconds ago. I have also done things like put in rollers, taken rollers out, put my hair up, taken it down, etc. I have not been especially delicate with my extensions, so I can almost entirely credit the quality of this tape for how well my extensions have stayed in. I would not be surprised if 2 months from now, I have to use tape remover to get these off. That is the way it should be, but not the way it has been with other brands (unfortunately). I am glad to find this tape here & get it Prime! I hope the seller does not hike up the price based on great reviews. It is more expensive than any other tape I have seen. It is worth the $12. For sure. Get this tape.

This is very good for a first time user. I brought lace edges and this holds them very well. My only complaint is this tape shines, so not sure why they call it ‘no shine’??? Nothing that can’t be fixed with some makeup. Other complaint is it only comes with one side covered so the other side is exposed and very sticky, which makes it a little hard to deal with. Also be careful when you put it down because it will pick up the slightest lint/ speck! The peel off part does come off easily, especially if you use tweezers like I do. Overall, I would recommend if you don’t want to use glue.

Didn't stay

I got tired of losing 2-8 tape-in extensions every shampoo-- even first shampoo-- with the Beautify strips I was buying. Maybe they were knockoffs. This sure isn't! Same tape-in set cleaned and reused with this, held over a month with only one touchup spot needed! I had to struggle a little to take them out, could've held a full six weeks I think. I'm converted, it's worth having a set of cheap kitchen shears on hand to be slightly gummy to cut my own strips. This is too wide for tape-ins technically, but it didn't leave any extra gummy stuff behind or make my hair sticky, and I'll just order narrower when I run out I think. I mean, if it wound up being the width keeping them in so long, it wouldn't be a dealbreaker. All the stars.

Use this tape for tape ins, and cut to size. I peel off one side of the tape and put it on the extension, then heat it up A LITTLE with my flat iron. When I put them in my hair I sandwich them and heat up the tape again. Don’t wash your hair right after or they will come out. Wait like 3 days.

I would not reccommend tape in's. I would reccommend sew in wefts or clip ins. I will not be buying more of this. It is very difficult to work with, and pricey. Your money is better spent on sew ins or clip ins. I have not tested out actual glue-in extension methods yet, but after my nightmare of experiences with tape-ins, I don't think I will attempt the glue-ins any time soon. This product in general is just difficult to deal with for so many reasons. Steer clear. I think people who do youtube videos about liking tape in hair extensions are big liars. And there seem to be a lot of liars out there. They seem to do one of the following things (even when you apply them properly): fall out the first time you wash your hair tangle up in your hair fall our partially and pull out your hair tangle up and full your hair like gum is in your hair It's an awful experience. When you have the option to buy wefts that you can clip in or sew in, why bother with glue or adhesives? Also, the odor of the adhesives really bothers me personally. Glue / adhesive and hair is just not your best option, especially when you can spend your time and money with a great clip in or sew in option. I hope this is helpful to someone like me.
