Great priced functional vest
I got a Men's Large and felt it was sized just about right since I have a handful of other large vests and this fits about right. It may be a touch wider and not as long but barley noticeable in that regard to me.I felt like they made what looks like a similar style to Carhart vests. The material is a bit more soft but still on the rugged side of things versus some of my wool and puffer vests that I'm less inclined to do outdoor yardwork with or hikes where a branch may snag and rip the higher performance light weight materials. But this is a good mix and the pockets are really nice with great working zippers. I know that all seems a bit trivial to expect but at this price and what they are sort of copying off of, it works great from my initial testing! And at just under the $30 if something were to happen to this like getting stained up it's less of a concern to me than my near or over $100 light weight or down filled vests. If you like the look of Carhart stuff and some of that function and durability at a much lower cost, this may be for you!

Great vest. Excellent price
We're in the middle of a hot summer, so I haven't had an opportunity to really give this vest a cold weather test, but I've worn it on cooler evenings and it seems warm and comfortable. The exterior is a rugged material that should stand up to a fair amount of outdoor abuse, and the fleece interior is soft and warm. It's a nice combination of ingredients. It seems color-fast. I hand washed it and found no bleeding or fleece shedding. It does require a bit of extra care, though. It wants a gentle wash cycle and hang drying. The size chart was accurate for me. My measurements fell close to the top of the small size range and the fit is close without being too tight. If you want a loose fit, and you're close to the top of the size range, you might want the next size up.Nice vest. It will get a lot of use once the weather cools down.

This will be great for working in the winter.
Nice soft lining. Very comfortable. Tough outer material, will hold up well for doing physical work. Nice loose fit. I'm a big guy at 6'-3" and 265 lbs. The 3X fits very comfortably. Not tight at all, but not oversized. Good for tall guys as the vest is long enough that my lower back is still covered when bending over. That's very important when working in the winter on hands and knees. Metal zipper is nice. I'm tired of plastic zippers that break so easily. It's great to have an actual metal zipper. Nice insulated collar that covers the back of my neck and zips up to my chin to keep well bundled up in the cold. Top chest pocket has a snap to keep things from falling out. Side pockets are spacious but not insulated. The inside pocket is nice to have. I think this will be a great vest for cold weather working. I can't test it for that right now as we are in the 90's at this time. But it's heavy and seems well insulated. I love it.

Very nice warm jacket/vest - size runs slightly large
This is my unbiased review. I live in an area with a (mostly) temperate climate year-round. However, this jacket should fit the bill for those times when I do need a bit of warmth, such as when we go to the local mountains to see snow or during some of our cool winter evenings.I will say, I usually wear L - XL, but this XL seems slight bigger than expected, however, that may be to accommodate layering in the winter.

Nice mid-weight vest
This vest with a long sleeve shirt is a perfect pick for a cool Fall day. It is roomy enough and has hand pockets, a button flap pocket on the right breast, a vertical zip pocket on the left breast, and an interior pocket with Velcro inside on the left. While it looks like a super heavy vest, what we have is basically a fleece vest with a light canvas shell. This is great, because I was worried that putting this on under my Carhartt or Duluth task coats might be a bit much. Instead, this will provide an additional amount of core warmth without the bulk of a heavy cotton duck cloth. I could easily throw this on over a lightweight shell or under my favorite raincoat and be ready for a blustery day.It fits well, and as I said is roomy enough for my not quite as fit as I should be self.

Great Materials, Heavy Duty
This is a fantastic vest. The outer fabric is durable, and definitely made to appeal to Carhartt fans. Inside it has a fleece liner that is super warm and effective. The stitching, zipper, buttons and fabric are of good quality. This is described as loose-fit; I prefer slim to regular fit, but given the chance to get this value I decided to size down and I think it worked. I am 6'0", 175lbs and with wearing normal layers a Medium fit me just right; of course if you prefer a loose fit and are near those dimensions a Large would suit you. This listing at the time of the review is $30, and it's worth every penny of that. If you're looking for a rugged work vest without paying namebrand money, this is an excellent option.

rugged work vest
This is made of a heavy duty material that'll withstand the rigors of heavy use. Made to withstand the elements to keep you dry and warm. I like the breast pockets (one zipped) as well as both the hand pockets, as well as the two inside. You can carry a bunch of stuff with all those pockets.
