I found this insulating foam tape easily wraps and sticks well to my refrigerant lines. I overlapped @ 50%. It doesn't seem to stick super to itself. By that I mean to say through the entire application it held very well, it was just the trailing wrap that started to lift itself away. Not a big deal, a zip tie secured it at the end and so far looks like it will remain on until it fades away. It did stick very well to the pipe.So I was also looking for a way to prevent my sharp corners on top of my RV from ripping the protective cover. This foam tape sticks well to aluminum also, I'm not ready to install the RV cover yet, but I think this foam tape will be perfect to help stop that from tearing.

So I did get this for helping insualte some pipes in the garage even though I'm sure they would be fine. The cool thing is that it isn't jsue for pipes. So I had something that was a little squeaky and needed something thin to put between the two pieces that were rubbing snd I just cut off some of this and tried it and it worked perfectly. The material is nice and it's adhesion is very good. Just make sure whatever you are sticking it to is cleaned properly before applying it.

This is my review of XFasten Foam Pipe Insulation Tape 4 Inch x 15 Feet Heavy. I ordered this product to cover the new pipe perch in the chicken coop. It gets cold here and I was wanting to provide a way to reduce the cold on the hens’ feet. This pipe wrap worked great for this application, and I expect it will work well for insulating water pipes. The material has a strong durable feel that strongly adheres to the pipe. I did sand any contaminates off the pipe and wiped it down with lacquer thinner before I applied this wrap. The adhesion was very strong and so far, the material is holding up to their feet so I would say it should hold up good to the environmental conditions outside. This product has met my expectations; therefore, I will rate it 4 stars.

Insulating foam tape is nothing new. But this tape claims to be good for outdoors water pipes or air conditioner lines.Time will tell if the sun doesn't destroy it within a couple of hot, summer seasons!I'm hoping it lives up to the claim.

This tape worked great to seal up the copper lines on a mini-split air conditioner unit where the lines connect and there's a break in the insulation and needs a section added back in and sealed up to keep the lines from forming condensation.Super-adhesive sticks and stays where you apply it and is very durable to be able to pull it tight and compress the insulation for a neat and clean job.Seems very durable, but I will see how it holds up over time and update my review if it doesn't last at least a couple of years.It's a great deal because not only is it good tape, but it also give extra insulating properties as well so it's like a two-in-one tape that is prefect for HVAC lines.Shipped and received fast.5- Stars!

I am using this XFasten foam pipe insulation to add an extra layer of protection to my MrCool Universal installation lineset. The white wrapping is great on those units but I want to have black instead of white showing and the extra layer of foam should keep everything clean. 5/5 stars so far and will provide an update once I've had them in use for a couple of months or so.

I’ve had a couple of pipes that I worry about freezing in the winter time so to try and fix that issue for this coming winter I figured I’d give this insulation a try. Being that its 3 inches wide it gives me plenty of coverage and adherence seems to be pretty good. You just have to make sure you have a clean and dry surface. We will see how it does this winter. I’ll revise my review if I have any issues. But so far so good.
