Excellent Pens!!
Are these pens worth the money? Absolutely!! It is so nice to have refillable pens that work every time you pick them up! That is, if you are willing to clean them. If you don't clean them they will clog up on you, and skip and splatter. I found that you must have a relationship with them, they will be good to you, if you are good to them! If you are a lazy drawer and do not want to hassle with cleaning pens, buy the disposables, that way you will not be disappointed, until they run out of ink and you have to go buy more before you can finish your drawing. There is nothing wrong with that, because everyone has their preferences. In the long run, these pens will save you tons of money and you will have years of beautiful pens to draw with, if you take care of them. For an artist, it is no different than buying expensive paint brushes. You would never allow the paint to dry in the bristles. Making sure to clean your tools is the most important thing you can do. These are like the Maserati of pens.

I’ve had these before
I love these pens but I’ve had a set before, years ago. If no is left with in the cartridge for too long, the nib becomes clogged and may not be revived. So, they do need some TLC but they are worth it, as an artist. These are the best for me!

Love these pens
These are the only technical pens I use. Have used Rapidographs since the 1970s. I've tried cheaper ones, never again. These are my one and only. They take a little extra care to keep clean, and from clogging, but they are worth it. I do a lot of stippling in my artwork, they are the only ones to get the tiniest, clear distinct dots. I am so excited to treat myself to a whole brand new set, buying individual can be pricey. This set was priced at a bargain.

Excellent for detail ink work
Although there are cheaper pens out there, these are more precise.

drawing pens
These are very nice pens to draw with. I'm using the super fine line and I've found that I need to draw a bit slower. But other than that, the lines are very nice. Shipping was quick and pens were well packed. I'm using these pens with watercolor pencils. I draw the items first with the pens. Let the ink completely dry. Then I start using the pencils and adding water to the picture. The ink lines are stable and do not bleed out or mix with the water.

Perfect 10 all around, the best hands down!!
I'm very picky with my drawing utensils. I was convinced for years that these were no longer in production. So imagine the surprise when I found this set. And it was 50 dollars cheaper than a used set on eBay. You cannot beat the quality of these pens; there isn't any better for art.

Good pens, different feel from the older makes.
Feel great when using. I did have an issue with one leaking from the threads at the nib but it was resolved by the seller. The overall quality has definitely changed but still a nice set. 5/5 for the seller 4/5 for the product.

overall good
Keep in mind that i also just purchased some "Rotring" pens and "Koh i noor" are are basically the same mechanism. I paid 29$ average per pen for both the "Koh i noor" and the "Rotring". They cost about the same and do perform the same. I am beginning to enjoy the Rotring more though but what can you really expect when we are talking about ink through a super fine point. i like have both sets of pens as i can added colour to one set while another remains black.update April 2022i've had this set now for 2.5 years. of the 7 pens - 4 of them have gone bad, (0.13 0.18 0.25 0.50) probably within a year of use.i see the price had come down and buying this set today would bring the cost of each pen to 22.90. not bad.
