Seems quick and accurate
Seems accurate as far as I can tell, gets a temperature reading quickly (couple of seconds). Build quality is a bit plasticy but seems to be holding up to regular use so far, time will tell however it is relatively inexpensive compared with some kitchen thermometer (although granted this one isn’t certified calibrated if your a professional cook). All in all for a home cook it works well and is a really useful addition to the kitchen.

Very accurate for the perfect meal
The media could not be loaded. Since moving to a new apartment, we have new kitchen appliances. We haven’t been able to cook meats perfectly. Also going from gas hobs to induction, has also been challenged to get the right temperature. Which is why this was needed. We have been able to roast chicken perfectly without over or under cooking it. Also getting the temperature of the oil right for fried chicken. The reading is very accurate. Very easy to use and the screen is easy to read. Pull out the probe and it is ready to be used. There’s a button to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius. It has a built in magnet. The problem I have with it, is it is clearly focused on American customer. It’s not a huge problem. The chart on the device is in Fahrenheit. A a print chart is given to help with measuring in Celsius. But would have been nice to have one specific to the UK and countries that use Celsius.

Best temperature probe I've used
I work in catering and have used a fair few different thermometers but I've found this one is the best value for money. Its well-packaged, delivered with clear instructions and you can tell that its good quality just by looking at it. Its pretty fast to measure temp but sometimes is a little confusing to read since it shows min/ max temperatures too. I've used it for jams, syrups, standard cooking and baking but I've even used it to measure body temperature. I'd say its accurate too. Its easy to just wipe clean AND has a magnet so you can just stick it on the fridge, which i love, also has a bottle opener on it too. Its great value for money and I'd definitely recommend buying a food probe, especially this one.

If you are slightly paranoid about poisoning people and lose stuff you need to get this!
This is such a wonderful and simple gadget but EVERYONE needs one! I alway worry when I cook chicken as it can look cooked on the outside but not be on the inside, this little gadget is fabulous, you just take it off your fridge open it up, put the front spike in the meat and TADA the display tells you if the said chicken is at right temperature! It works with Beef and other meats also. The only downside is that the marker on how hot it has to be is in Fh despite the themometer measuring in Celsius and Fh but you just make sure it's on the Fh setting and check it's 165Fh (for Chicken) but I've not really found this a problem for some it may annoy you for me, I still have my piece of mind. Did I mention I can't lose it because I can stick it on the front of my fridge?! (you can hang it up too) I love it so much I bought my Mum one! This is a fantastic product in my opinion and I've had it two years (record for me as I'm clumsy and stuff breaks on me ALL the time!)

Great value for money
UPDATE: 4 years on and its still going strong! Great value for money! This is my fourth thermometer and with fingers crossed my last. Cheaper than the others I've had previously, but you would not tell to look at it. Comes neatly packaged, I love the that it has a folding probe as my last one didn't and made storage really awkward. The magnet is the best bit as I've stuck it to the side of the cooker hood, it'll never get mixed up, lost or damaged.Backlight is really handy and makes easy reading, as is the fact it had the temperatures printed on the thermometer so you don't have to rely on digging the information out or remembering it. My last thermometer which was a household name stopped working due to the slightest moisture so with this being waterproof it should hopefully last the test of time. Glad i took the plunge and ordered it.

Ideal Kitchen Tool that is Easy to Read.
I’ve only had this for a few days, so I can’t comment on durability. Nice form factor, it has a magnetic base & so sticks to my microwave or fridge which I find a convenient place to store it. I like the fact the device turns on when you unfold the probe & turns off when you fold the probe back into the handle. So far I have used it for baking, cooking & making bread & I’ve found it very useful. Easy to clean & the display lights up, making it easy to read.

Easy To Use
The thermometer is very useful when cooking meat and I can imagine using it for all sorts of cooking. The display is easy to read and the light is handy. The magnet means I can just have it on my extractor hood too so it is always on hand. The option for farenheit and celcius is very useful when using American recipes for example, and saves having to convert. My only gripe with the product is that it isn't totally accurate, but you get what you pay for, just be aware of the fact that its not dead on, or at least the one I received is not completely accurate, so if you need a precise thermometer, I'd spend a bit more, for a 100% accurate one.
