Missing it so...
The only problem I had with this tool, is it took 20 min to complete my heads and now I have nothing else to use it on. It's such a beautifully well-designed tool, I hate that I can't use it more.

Great Product
Works great as this product has been used to change stock and performance/race valve springs. The SC-2000 is the best manual valve spring compressor I have used. Only second to a very expensive pneumatic compressor I used at the machine shop. The SC-2000 is highly recommended, easy to use, and provides a lot of comfort knowing the valve spring compressor is not going to slip or change angles when you have the spring compressed. The SC-2000 is strongly recommended for the racer/DIYer looking to have the capability of safely changing your own valve springs.

Best automotive size manual valve spring compressor I can find.
Very rigid and easy to use. Heavy springs are easy to compress with very little effort. Large enough to handle large big block engine cylinder heads and enough adjustment to also handle small block engine cylinder heads. I specifically bought this one to try because my old clamp-style spring compressor did not compress spring straight down, so I would occasionally nick or scratch a valve stem. This LSM screw-style tool compresses the spring almost perfectly straight so it solved my main issue. I only wish I had spent the money to get this one a long time ago. No regrets on this one. Excellent tool and worth every penny.

The SC-2000 tool works great!
This tool is the mac-daddy of valve spring compressors and is a work of art. Using a much lesser tool, I hurt my hands and bent the tool trying to compress the high rate springs for the roller cam in my Ford FE engine. Then I tried using a hydraulic press which was very awkward and I risked dumping the head on the floor every time I used it. The SC-2000 tool works great!

fantastic spring compressor
LSM really builds quality tools giving us the confidence to service performance heads without worry that the spring or retainer will be flying around the shop. The crank has two attachment locations for either speed or leverage and both the retainer cup and the pusher have roller bearings for smooth operation. Oil the threads and it will last a lifetime. Thanks LSM and I look forward to owning one of your bench model spring testers that you displayed at IMIS

You can't live without this if you work on performance ...
You can't live without this if you work on performance heads. This thing can proudly bear the term "Made in America". Buy it even if you don't do heads. It's just manly.

The best !
Drag racers with large motors used BIG Fing springs and this tool makes it happen easy and makes it safeand best of all I can do it alone with out any worry or any muscle..I use my DeWalt impact driver w a socket on the endand can have a triple spring on and off in 5 seconds without breaking a sweat
