My wife took up paint by numbers ad this magnifying lamp work great, very easy to setup and use too.

This LED magnifying lamp is so much better than the ones we had before LED lights! The head of the lamp is so much smaller and lighter than the old Luxo lamps with wrap-around fluorescent bulbs. I was considering trying to refit the 40-year-old lamp, but this is so much better, and right-sized. I wear bifocals, but even through the close-up part of the glasses, small things are still fuzzy. This lamp helps me read the tiniest print as well as for painting super small details.This magnifying glass with lights has been a game-changer for my hobbies. The large lens is perfect for getting a clear view of bigger projects, and the bright, adjustable light ensures I can see every detail, no matter the lighting in the room. I love that it's supported by a metal arm, allowing it to move in any direction I need. The USB-powered feature is convenient and keeps the workspace clutter-free. Whether you're working on crafts, repairs, or any detailed tasks, this magnifying glass is a must-have. Highly recommended!

This is a well manufactured hobby magnifying glass. The supporting arms each have adjustable wing screws to hold the LED lamp surrounded magnifying glass at a perfect height for whatever you are working on. The supporting stand has a soft scratch free cushion on the bottom of the base.The magnifying glass (plastic) is surrounded by LED lights that you can adjust both intensity (brightness) and color temperature, easily by buttons on the lens surround. Power is through a USB A type wall plug that you will need to supply.

Bad: The metal base is not flat and wobbles, the light flickers especially at the low setting, the magnifying head is loose (even when fully tightened) and flops about, and the cord is way too short to be usable without an USB extension cord.Good: The lens is large and clear. The design would be fine if well implemented.

While the magnification and lighting on this are pretty good, and this can be used for the intended purpose, there are multiple signs that this is not a quality product, unfortunately.• A warped base plate leaves this not sitting flat and those wobbles somewhat easily.• The shaft of the light assembly is unable to seat fully into the base plate receiver, so a hole in each does not line up for the thumb screw to be able to properly hold the light assembly to keep it from rotating• The thumb screw is off-centered• The lens assembly rotates maybe 15° more loosely than the rest of it.Again, the magnification and lighting on this are decent, so if the above mentioned things don't bother you, you'll probably be satisfied. For me, it was disappointing and I would certainly not order this again.

The magnifier is quite nice. The base is fairly stable, and the light is very adjustable and works well. However, in looking at things through the main magnifier, I would guess the magnification is more like 1.5X. In looking at a column of text, the image is about 50% larger than the original. The small spot was much higher, and I don't have a good indication of what the magnification is. All in all, it is a very nice magnifier and is much lighter than many, so it is quite portable.

The magnifying glass was shipped quickly and arrived at my door within a few days. It’s easy to put together and feels sturdy. The lights work great, making it much easier to work on small craft projects or models. The magnifying glass also stays in place where you need it.

This tool is ideal for examining coins of all sizes and ages. The high zoom capability captures every minute detail, and the lighting enhances visibility significantly. I highly recommend it!
