I have done a lot of work with both colored pencils and watercolors. I have also worked with watercolor pencils. When it comes to colored pencils, the bottom line is this- if you really want to have a lot of colors to work with but are limited by finances, you want to get the best colors in a collection you can afford that is a decent performer.HOW THIS COMESThis is a fantastic set. It has one of the nicest high quality cases you can get. There is a place for everything in this case. It is wrapped and protected in case your package is left in the rain.CASEThe case has a single direction zipper, not a double headed zipper. There is a place for everything in the case which is fantastic. The elastic and the zipper are good quality.CHARTDon't be put off by the chart when you first get this. I am unsure why Kalour seems to give really poor quality paper when it comes to making a swatch chart. I used these on both their chart and really nice cotton watercolor paper. HUGE difference.PENCILSThe pencils are all painted with the right color on the body so it is pretty easy to hone in on the one you want along with the swatch chart. I will say this, you will run out of these pencils faster than traditional colored pencils because the lead is very soft and good watercolor paper will allow you to lay down alot of pigment. Keep that in mind for projects. These are not for sale in individual colors to my knowledge.BRUSHESThe watercolor brush allows you to use traditional water reservoir or you can use the water brush if you are limited in space and accessibility to water wells. They work well and are decent quality.OVERALL QUALITYI have worked with the best of the best from Caran D'Ache, Albrechty Durer, and several others. I have also worked with more middle of the road brands like Cezanne and Nyoni. I would put these in the middle of the road category. The colors are vivid, the laydown is good, but you have to find the right paper to use them on for best results. I am really loving the Fluid 100 Watercolor paper from Speedball company. It gives me a lot better results than other papers with these pencils.SHARPENINGThese sharpen well so far but I go slowly and don't race through. Keep in mind these wear down fast so you can even use your brush on the lead and get more mileage out of it.THE BOTTOM LINEIf you are short on cash but love color and long for a good set of watercolor pencils and tools, this is your go to. Trial and error will find you the best paper to use them on and you should get good results.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. If you keep in mind the things I have explained, this set will be a good value.PHOTOSOn the left is the swatch chart that comes with the pencils on not so great paper. On the right is a progressive swatch on Fluid 100 from speedball which is 100% cotton.

72 great colors. Tube watercolors are often lacking in green and blue shades but there's no lack here, an amazing array of colors covering the rainbow plus brown, gray, and black.A color swatch sheet is included to keep track of the effects of each color but I decided to test them on watercolor paper (220 g/m medium weight) to see how it puddles and blends and I wasn't disappointed. The pigments aren't quite as strong as tube watercolor (unless you really pile it on with the pencil before wetting it) but they are suitable for more delicate shades where you don't need a high level of control over the spread of the paint. Very suitable for backgrounds and color highlights, abstract and nonfigurative work. I don't think I would choose these for detail work because the process of wetting the pencil marks to turn it into aquarelle texture will cause the pigment to spread. I'm sure these can be used together with tube paints for interesting effects.The kit includes a sharpener, two kinds of brushes (although I would recommend buying a good set of brushes to go with it, mine were able to fit into the pouch with the pencils along one side). Everything fits in a portable carrying case with a zipper and small handle.Definitely a gift-worthy set for someone who likes to draw and is making the transition to watercolor or even for someone already familiar with watercolor who wants to try something different.I'm enjoying this set. I might use it to make our seasonal cards.

So far I like them. You do need a higher quality water color paper for these to work well. I used one on a water color coloring book for kids and it was okay. It does come with a pencil sharpener, fine paintbrush and a blending pen.

The case has each pencil secure in a sort of rack that keeps them in place and unable to break easily. The pencils are ready to use and are sharp now. The case also has a sharpener, a brush, and a water brush included.Installation/setup: Use to make art and use water to activate the colors.Final thoughts: The colors are bright and easy to use. The color is applied then activated with water to spread the paint and they are easily mixed as well. I like these and I’m glad I got them.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Trousse de bonne qualité avec des crayons aquarelles je ne peux pas comparer mes aquarelles car je débute mais couleur très jolie et surtout aquarellable pour les pinceaux celui à réservoir est correct mais le 2 em est de très mauvaise qualité et surtout arrivé tordu mais pour le prix je trouve cette ensemble assez correct et très pratique pour avoir de l aquarelle en voyage
