Been addicted to getting these crystal globes for my desk at work. They are perfectly cleat and illuminate nicely with the LED base. Nice bright colors that light up my desk perfectly.

The glass ball is pretty big and heavy. It won't break easily if dropped. The cat is beautifully etched and the base allows you to choose between colors or have the color change. It makes a lovely gift or keep it for yourself.

It is very nice and easy to see and read the planet names. Gives a nice representation of the orbit of the planets for young kids. It looks nice on my desk and the option for color is nice. I would recommend giving it a try

This crystal ball arrived in an odd, kind of generic box that said "3D Crystal Ambient Light" on it (without a picture of the actual cat product). The item itself seemed to be good quality but was very, very tiny-- about a fourth the size I was expecting just based on the pictures. The whole thing could fit in the palm of my hand. The package included the ball itself, a wooden base that contains the light at the bottom (with USB plug but no brick), a cleaning cloth, and a remote featuring different colors. The crystal seemed to attract dust and was very dusty so I immediately understood the need for a cleaning cloth (the same kind as a glasses lens cleaning cloth). Despite the dust and small size, it did work as expected and as described. You just had to plug the cord in, set the crystal ball on top and it immediately lit up very brightly, changing colors. The remote worked immediately and allowed you to cycle through different colors, brightness levels, and automatic color-changing options (ex: strobe, fade). I think a tween, teen, or adult who likes cats and interesting gadgets might like it as unique a room decoration even though it's tiny.

Our aunt is crazy about cats and we got this as a future Christmas gift for her. It looks great and I'm sure she will love it.

This galaxy light makes a great bedside nightlight for kids or a fun desktop piece for any solar system enthusiast. Our 11-year-old describes it as 'cool'. She loves the color options and being able to control the colors with the remote. Definitely recommend!

The ball is lit up by lights below. It comes with a cleaning cloth, which is surprisingly quite useful as it seems to get smudges from one's fingers pretty easily. It has the ability to change the intensity and color as well as choose different styles. Overall, it can make an interesting light in the bedroom. The only surprise is that the light that is cast onto the ceiling is not terribly interesting. Basically, it is the color of the LEDs that one is showing in various circles. It seems strange that the most prominent thing on the ceiling is a pretty boring circle of light.
