I am using this as a display for some of my collectibles. I normally collect diecast and figures and leave them in box unless I have a way of displaying them to keep the dust off. This works perfectly for that. I've attached a rechargeable light to the interior top, and now it just looks great. The case is well made, but it is very light. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but it's really, really light. I'm saying this because this needs to be placed somewhere where there is zero chance of it getting knocked over or off of where you place it because I'm pretty sure it would break into a lot of pieces. The door is easy to open and close and is held shut by magnetic force. The drawer opens and closes nicely as well. This thing is big and really stands out and looks nice. I'm very happy with this and it is a good value for what you get.
