Childrens Wooden Toy Crossbow With 3 Arrows & Target

Kids loved this. A simple design but robust and executed nicely in wood. Makes a really satisfying thwack when you fire.

Well made, fires really well, easy to use, my nephew looks and feels the part in his knight's outfit - my only quibble, no English assembly instructions, having never assembled a cross bow before it did take some working out. If you are selling to an English market, please include English instructions!

I wanted to make sure I wrote a positive review here for this item as this item had a few people write rather negative reviews about it's design.After I read the reviews it seemed to me that some people were making basic mistakes in it's construction.It shoots wonderfully.It's a nice wood and very light.The one thing you have to do is get the screw in tight, the screw bites into the wood as you screw and takes a mild grip.After comparing it to other plastic kids crossbows on here I was certain this was the better buy and I still think I was right.All the 'other' kids plastic crossbows have fancy packaging and look flashy. All these things are just extra's designed to sell you the product and they push up the cost at the price of quality.This fine piece of wooden craftmanship is exactly what kids toys should be.All the money you are spending on this object has been spent on the object it self without some high amount of marketing labels and ploys.I'm very happy with it.Good day.

I was surprised when I took it out of the box that it was smalller than I expected. I can't recall whether there were dimensions given on the product description-if so then entirely my own mistake. For info the target board is square not circular as shown and is 30cm by 30cm and and hangs from a corner (i.e. like a diamond) The cross bow is approx 32cm lengthways and 36cm wide (thats the cross bow part).The toy is very well made and has good quality finish. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that half the time the darts don't seem to stick to the target-I think if you dont hit the target dead straight on then it seems to just fall off. This seemed to bother the kids so they gave up after a while maybe it just takes practice?

Do not buy. You’ll make a child very unhappyIt’s the worst present I ever bought.I felt so bad for the child. Thanks God It was part of a bigger present so I didn’t feel too ashamed.The screw that’s suppose to fix that little piece of metal won’t stop turning and obviously it was wobblingThe other screw of the tot kept falling offThe arrows are very low qualityI won’t recommend at all. If I could I’d send it back.I’m sorry I paid so much...I’m actually getting mad when I think of how much I paid for such a lousy toy.

This is a lovely wooden toy. My son very much enjoys it (as do I). Great fun playing target practice and it fires well. Not too far though so it's safe to play in a good size garden without pestering the neighbours to retrieve stay arrows.

This is a well made toy for the price. (I would suggest under 10 or 11 because of its smaller size). I would have given it 5 stars had it come with directions! Despite 2 university diplomas, I had to have my husband help me figure out how to get the thing to work! Otherwise the kids do love it. Another suggestion: sell with more arrows or offer replacement ones. I can foresee those things going missing real soon, especially since no bag or storage recipient comes with the set.

Great toy - my 5 and 8 year olds have had lots of fun from this. Much sturdier than the plastic versions you can also get. Packaging is disappointing if you want to give as a present though. It comes in a plastic bag!

Vraiment un super jouet tout en bois de qualité.les embouts colleront pour les tirs de près, mais pas éloignés. l’énorme avantage, c'est qu'un papa ou une maman bricoleurs pourront acheter des baguettes de bois dans n'importe quelle surface de bricolage et créer plein de flèches facilement, avec des vrais plumes ! pour de nouveau embouts, il faudra chercher un peu.AU NIVEAU SÉCURITÉ : ATTENTION LES YEUX POUR LES GARNEMENTS QUI METTRAIENT AUTRE CHOSE QUE LES FLÈCHES PRÉVUES !! a réserver donc aux enfants qui comprennent bien des notions de sécurité de base; ce qui n'est pas compliqué en soit.

Es un juguete para niños, pero casi nos gustó más a los adultos. Una pistola que tiene aspecto de peligrosa con esa tira de acero que parece que corte, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, un acabado muy bueno. Las flechas con ventosa se pegan en la superficie de la diana muy bien. Así que muy buena compra, eso sí hay que enseñar al niño a hacer un uso responsable de ella.

Unser 6-jähriger Sohn hatte diese Armbrust unter dem Weihnachtsbaum. Nach dem Auspacken der Armbrust waren alle anderen Pakete absolut vergessen. Es wurde nur noch geschossen und geschossen und geschossen. Die Worte unseres Sohnemannes "das ist mein schönstes Weihnachtsgeschenk" halten am dritten Tag nach Weihnachten weiterhin an...Die Armbrust ist sehr handlich für kleine "große" Jungs. Sie macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Auch die Pfeile sind gut haltbar. Mich begeistert an dieser Armbrust, dass unser Sohn richtig viel Spaß hat (sie schießt also nicht wie ein Baby-Spielzeug), trotzdem ist sie so konzipiert, dass sie Pfeile nicht mit einer solchen Wucht losschmettern, dass man Angst um sein Haus haben muss. Alle bisher abgeschossenen Gegenstände (dazu gehören unsere Fensterscheiben, das Aquarium, der PC-Monitor und auch der Fernseher) haben alles gut überlebt.Auf der mitgelieferten Zielscheibe halten die Pfeile auch sehr gut. Hier macht es auch Papa Spaß, mitzuschießen :-)Alles in allem eine absolute Kaufempfehlung von uns und auch unserem Sohn!
