I really like this bread box. It looks nice on my kitchen counter, & I love that it’s fits in the corner.

The bamboo finish, and the fitment of all the panels is pretty nice. Some of the cut edges were very sharp, which I was a little surprised about, but once it's put together they're not a hazard - at least with the one I got. You might want to be extra careful handling the panels until then or just wear gloves.My only real complaint about this item is the protective plastic covering on both sides of the window. There are two layers. The bottom layer is a typical protective stretchy plastic. The top layer is.. something else. That layer comes apart into about a million pieces as you peel the bottom layer off, and it has a static charge so the little pieces stick to EVERYTHING. I'm still finding pieces on my refrigerator something like a week later. I included pictures to show it. Very frustrating to clean afterward, I don't understand why there's some coating on it that can come apart like that. It doesn't seem to add anything to the protection or do anything else.The box itself is well made, the hardware is cheap but sufficient, and it works (opens and closes) exactly like it's supposed to. The shelf is 'removable' I guess, at least I think they put that in the description, but you would have to disassemble at least one side of the box to remove it. It's not like you can just slide it in and out as you like.

Nice compact bread box. Fits securely in corner and leaves space that a regular bread box would take up free. I like the way it looks and the plexiglass front lets you see what is inside of the bread box.Each piece came individually wrapped and inside its own bag. Pieces were not labeled (yay no stickers to try to peel off) and were easily identified.A bag of screws with extra pieces plus a screwdriver was also included in the packaging. What was not included, however, were instructions on how to assemble. I don't know if they were missing from my package or not included because the assembly instructions are on line as part of the ad. Once I viewed the video, assembly was fairly easy.I'm taking 1 star off because the paint around the plexiglass is missing and I can see unpainted wood.
