Bought these for my 11/12yo son and they are definitely fitted so make sure you get your sizes right the material is very smooth and thin so no worries for holding heat they almost remind me of compression shorts but overall my son loves them and has no complaints on material or size I have washed them twice and they have still been in tack but I do not dry them for worry of shrinkage but I can see him growing out of them if he starts to grow more or gains weight.
