Bat House
Really nice! Need the bats to relocate from my attic to a lovely new home! It was installed as instructed and looks very good.

Great price for a really nice bat house, very bat friendly.
This is a nice looking bat house, that even has a little bat logo on the front. It requires no assembly, and was very easy to hang on the side of my house up high near the peak. It came with a mount to hang it on with a screw, so the only thing I needed was a ladder, and a screwdriver. It is well made, with little grooves on the wood inside so they can get a good grip for roosting, and a passage at the top so they can move through the three sections without needing to go outside. The inside is bare wood, which is good for the bat's health and safety, and the outside has a black paint finish with a logo of a bat on it, and it like great. Like some others, I felt the paint on the outside was a little thin, so in the interest of giving them a long term home I put a couple of clear coats of polyurethane on the outside. I get migrant bats twice a year on their way to and from Mexico, but I noticed that I also have a few that are apparently "locals", and are here all year long. I wanted to make them a nice home, where they could visit my hummingbird feeders for my entertainment, and eat their own weight in insects daily, which really, really cuts down on the mosquito population dramatically. I am going to say it works well, because I have already observed one leaving it for the night, and I believe I might be getting some added action at the feeder as well. Not sure if I have many yet, but I'm sure the colony will grow over time. I like this, the bats like this, and at the price, I think it is a really good, solid bang for your buck.

Well made and easy to hang
It's made of a nice stained wood. I agreed with the other reviewer that it could use some extra clear sealant to protect it from the extreme weather. It seems to have a good amount of room for a few bats. This is my first bat house so I'm unsure if it will attract them. We live in an area famous for bats but here they like roosting under bridges.

Well thought out design
I love wildlife. I had set up numerous birdhouses throughout my property. A friend suggested that I set up a bat box. So, I ordered this one. This bat box is well constructed. It has three chambers with an interior hole near the top to allow bats to travel from chamber to chamber. Each slab of wood has groves cut into it allowing the bats to cling on to the inside. The outside is painted, but the inside is left untreated. On the outside is a cute painted bat giving it a nice touch. Overall, I'm impressed with this box. A lot of thought was put into its design and construction.

Large bat box
This makes 1 of 3 bat boxes we have around our home. This is very large, has three chambers in it and a passthrough portal from one to another. It was really easy to install - just climb the ladder, shoot a screw and hang. So far, I have not seen any residents, but it's not for lack of amenities. This is a really nice bat house. Definitely recommend!

Great!
Really well constructed and visually appealing! My husband helped hang this in a tree with ropes and string since we don't own the tree and didn't want to damage it. Not sure if bats are using it yet, but really happy with the bat house construction and appearance!

Nice and sturdy
This is a very cool looking bat house. It is built very sturdily and the bat picture on the front is very cute. Make sure to hang it up high and preferably not on a tree, bats will not want to roost near branches that they might fly into. Against the side of a house or high on a post works well, you want to hang it at least 12 feet high.

Nice looking bat house, but may not hold up to the weather
The bat house looks very similar to other bat houses I’ve seen, but this one comes covered with black paint. The paint is very thin and doesn’t look like it will hold up to the weather. So, I spray painted a couple layers of polyurethane over it to protect it from UV light. I read that owls and bats don’t necessarily like being in close proximity to each other, so I moved the bat house to the other side of the backyard, about 60 feet away. I haven’t seen evidence of any bats yet, but I know that the baby owlets just left the owl box. Perhaps in a month or two, I’ll see bats on my night camera that I set up to observe it.
