2025 Ecogenix Tesla to J1772 Charging Adapter (Max 80A, 240V), NACS to J1772 Adapter, J1772 EVs Adapter, Compatible with Tesla Wall Connector/Destination/Mobile Charger (for J1772 EVs Only) Black

I have an Ioniq 5 and got this adapter to be able to use Tesla charging stations. I tried it out on an overnight road trip. Worked like a charm! The Tesla charging plug fit into the adapter perfectly. As some videos recommended, I waited 30 seconds for the adapter to sync with the Tesla charging station, then plugged into the Ioniq 5. After a few seconds of syncing up, charging started without a hitch. I especially liked that the Tesla charging stations were much faster than the J1772 ones. The adapter is very compact and easily stores away.

Works with a 2023 Volvo C40! Went through several adapters, some very expensive ones, all of which did not work on my Volvo C40. This one does work very well and it was priced right. Can't comment on longevity yet but it's rated at 80 amps and the Volvo maxes out at 44 amps.

Work for Jeep Wagoneer S on Tesla home Gen 3 charger. If it doesn’t work, register your tesla charger on Tesla app and change the settings to “Charge all vehicles”.

Quality seems to be good and it charges my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xE. Takes a few seconds for it to start charging but apparently that happens with all Tesla Destination chargers when it detects an adapter / non-Tesla vehicle.

This converter works properly when plugged in but just a few days after the Amazon return window, I realized that the 'pin' that closes on to the NACS connector to hold it in place, was manufactured backwards. This requires you to press the 'unlock' button to insert the NACS connector, and conversely, pulls out easily because the pin is reversed, the opposite of what you'd expect. This unit charges correctly once it is connected so I will use it until I find an economical replacement. There has been no response from the manufacturer about the problem. I did not see the "Frequently returned item" alert on Amazon. Buyer beware.

Small and compact. Somewhat lighter than what I expected for “ military grade” device.

Worked perfectly on my new VW I.D. Buzz (van). I plugged it right into my husband's Tesla charger with zero problems. It is kinda tricky to take out though. You have to be sure to push the button underneath the adapter to release (There's also one on the top), but the bottom one is easy to miss.

My house already had a Tesla charger in the garage, but my car (not a Tesla) requires a different plug. This was a tad tricky to attach to the Tesla charger but once it clicked in it worked flawlessly and my car charges just fine. Love it.
