White Sandwich Baguette 4 pack

Excellent tasty baguette.

I do love these but they very rarely seem to be available which is annoying.Great taste and really lovely with Lurpak on!

Tasty but a bit softer and squidgier than anticipated. I do like a really crusty baguette though so I'm probably just overly fussy, or maybe a "sandwich baguette" is just supposed to be softer. Delicious with a bit of Lurpack and some slices of whatever takes your fancy.

The bread is thick but very narrow, hard to put things on it.

Absolutely not for sandwiches, I expected them to be relatively soft. Yeah, no. They're rock hard, unless you have strong teeth and a strong jaw, you've got not chance. To be honest they would be nice if not solid as a rock. My teeth, and jaw were aching after finishing them. The top is so crusty and hard it will stab in to the roof of your mouth and gums. No matter what you put in them, thin sliced ham and slices of cheese, a bit of shredded lettuce and some mayonnaise, you have to apply so much pressure to bite through it, even completely flat ingredients will be forcibly squeezed out. So yeah, not for sandwiches at all. Great for things like soup though when you actually want nice crusty bread, but selling these as sandwich baguettes is very misleading as you'd expect them to be significantly softer than they are.
