BDI Sequel Storage Cabinet, Chocolate Stained Walnut

Just received this desk component as part of a four-piece ensemble for my home office. I own several of BDI's home entertainment furniture pieces, so thought I was familiar with BDI's quality. Boy, was I wrong. Unlike a lot of manufacturers, BDI has continued to improve quality over the years. The desk components are well thought out, and very nicely appointed. Assembly was simple and straightforward; if you can follow basic instructions assembly will take less than an hour. The larger components such as the filing cabinets arrive 90% preassembled. I prefer the modern look of BDI’s Sequel series, and it fits well with the décor of my home office.The series is fairly pricey, but for the quality and styling it was worth it. My only complaint was about the delivery. Amazon’s Ceva delivery contractor is terrible. The driver got lost on his way, and when he called me for directions he didn’t want to listen. Ceva missed my delivery window by a wide margin, and the boxes arrived in pretty bad condition. My wife photographed the boxes and noted the damage on the delivery receipt. Fortunately, BDI double and triple boxes some of the items, and we were fortunate that the furniture wasn’t damaged.
