Good Flux Performance with Precision Travel-Friendly Applicator
The ALLECIN No Clean Soldering Flux 558 is a great compromise between traditional flux tins or tubs and liquid flux in needle tip bottles. The ALLECIN No Clean Soldering Flux 558 has just enough viscosity to ensure the flux stays where you want it to be to achieve a good solder joint, unlike liquid flux that tends to spread across your work. Unlike some thicker flux pastes it does not leave a lot of unsightly flux residue on your work that you have to clean up later. While it's still good practice to clean up your work after any soldering job if you are able to, I'm not concerned that the barely noticeable residue that remains after using this flux is going to degrade my solder joints, PCB surface, or surrounding components.I found that the fumes emitted from the ALLECIN No Clean Soldering Flux 558 during soldering do not irritate my eyes or sinus cavities in the same way that smoke from other paste fluxes often do. I generally use a smoke extractor when the conditions allow for it, but even without the smoke extractor I can handle the small amount of smoke from this flux, at least for smaller jobs.I particularly like the applicator because it can be completely sealed after use and is unlikely to leak in your toolbox or in transit, unlike some needle tipped applicators used with liquid flux. The interchangeable tips give you more flexibility to get just the right amount of flux applied for each soldered connection. The removable tips can also be flushed and cleaned very easily with alcohol prior to putting them away until the next job.I did not find anything about this flux and applicator that would cause me to mark it down at all. The quantity of flux in the tube is limited, but the portability and convenience of the flux and applicator more than make up the difference for me. Note that I only evaluated its soldering performance for PCB soldering and desoldering and wire tinning. I have not tried it yet for surface mount device soldering or desoldering jobs.

A soldering miracle
I wish I had known about flux paste years ago! I am pretty experienced with soldering and have always used the messy tub of orange rosin goo. By comparison, the ALLECIN 558 flux seems like a miracle! It's so much faster, cleaner, and easier to get the flux where it's needed. It works well for tinning wires and for finer work like soldering headers, etc. Soldering the pins onto an Adafruit soundboard (pictured) took just a few minutes, and was much cleaner than if I'd used the old rosin goo. I don't get into soldering tiny SMD components, so no thoughts there. I can say confidently that I'll never go back to the old messy stuff again.

Great solder flux - easy to use and works well
I had a bunch of surface mount soldering to do, and the only spool of solder I could find had some old failing flux. Needless to say, the solder joints were spiky and poorly formed. That same day this flux arrived and I was able to use the needle to apply a small amount near every poor joint and quickly fix them without much smoke, mess, or effort. I’m really impressed with this product - highly recommended!

what the flux
Great flux product. Perfect thickness and doesn't run or gob like cheap flux. The container makes it really easy to squeeze out the amount you need and no more. The multiple tips make it work for every job. You can't really ask for more out of a flux than this. Give this a try and you may end up using this over your old brand. Great flux.

Easy to use, goes on clean
The syringe tip makes it easy to apply precisely. A quick blast with a heat gun and it's ready to go. A vital part of any tech's toolkit.

Works well but their 30mL is a better deal
I'm inexperienced in electronics repair but I'm trying to repair a few broken things that I have collected. In ever video I've watched on the subject, flux is so important. It helps the solder to bead up nicely and separate when two solder points are very close together.I got the ALLECIN flux to do the repairs that I wanted to do, but this 10mL one is priced the same as their 30mL one. Overall, I found that the resin worked well and as the name suggests, the fumes are reduced compared to a solder paste that came in a plastic tub. The needle allows precise application of the resin and it really does work to give the solder a nice bead.

Pretty decent flux
I'm getting more into SMD work and found that this works pretty well.I have other brands that I am trying to get a feel for on how they flow and this seems to be not bad. This isn't hard to apply. A little bit thin but if you go slow you won't get it everywhere and make a mess.I still clean up after it. I know most are non-clean type of flux but I am always in the habbit of doing so....

Excellent Flux That’s Perfect For My SMD Projects
I really like this flux. I’m finding that it flows very well and is perfect for me when doing any SMD work. I’ve been replacing some old ceramic capacitors in a Bose bluetooth speaker in order to bring it back to life and for this project and my other work it’s been a good tool companion so far. As with any flux that I use I always clean up after using with some IPA, even on so called “no clean” flux to make sure that things are left nice. This flux appears to work well at a variety of temperatures - I’ve used it with my hot air station as well as my fine-tipped soldering iron and so far so good. Note that this is a lead free flux as well. I find the price is quite reasonable and you get a good amount of flux in the dispenser as well as a couple of needles to help get into the smallest areas of a PCB. Very happy with this product and definitely a recommend for any electronics enthusiast or professional.

Gute Konsistenz und funktioniert super
Nicht zu flüssig, aber dennoch einfach aufzutragen. Man braucht sehr wenig und es stinkt auch kaum. Würde ich empfehlen
