Very pleased with this amp. Enables me to give my planar magnetic headphones some tube goodness. More engaging than my SMSL THX and nearly as good as a Tor Roger full-on tube amp (which you can't use with planars due to impedance issues). I have a set of PSVane 12AU7-S tubes coming and they will make it even better. Has great detail, kick and separation with the benefit of some of that tube magic. Chifi is just getting better and better.UPDATE: Tried PSVane S series, New Mullards and New Genalex Gold Lion - the Genalex are amazing, easily the best but the Mullards are as good as the PSVanes and less than half the price...

Great sounding amp; upgraded with a pair of Telefunken 12AU7 tubes. Also, top notch support and service on the off chance that some repair is needed.Cheers!

Amplificatore per cuffie bilanciato xduoo ta-20. Inizio la recensione partendo dall'acquisto e spedizione, guardando il prezzo su Amazon mi sorgeva il dubbio riguardante le spese di spedizione, se ci sarebbero state delle spese in più riguardo dogana /iva/trasporto quindi ho contattato amazon e poi il venditore stesso (Cina) il quale mi ha confermato che non ci sarebbero stati costi aggiuntivi, e se ci fossero stati per errore mi avrebbero rimborsato loro stessi. In effetti ho pagato solo quello che riportava il sito Amazon e nulla più, quindi ottimo. Processo di spedizione stesso veloce, 6 giorni ed il prodotto era a casa mia (spedito dalla Cina) quindi spedizione velocissima. Imballo molto meticoloso ed efficiente. Arriva già con valvole installate e seppur valvole di base cinesi non sono male, ho notato che hanno un marchio dorato a forma di k sulla valvola stessa e non la solita scritta made in China, magari è una nuova tipologia di valvola. Comunque non male perché le ho confrontate con delle psvane e delle audioplated Nightingale è la differenza non è eclatante. Come confronto tra amplificatore ho solo un topping a30 pro e sappiamo che è un prodotto valido è potente, ma comunque il ta-20 non sfigurare affatto, ha un suono leggermente più caldo, poi naturalmente incide anche la sorgente /dac in questo caso smsl su-9. Come potenza per pilotare le cuffie non ho avuto problemi, pilota molto bene cuffie in mio possesso shure srh1540 /hifiman edition xs /Philips fidelio x2hr molto bene e senza sforzi, volume xduoo digitale che arriva a 95 fondo scala, e già a volume 75/80 è eccessivo, per eccessivo intendo che a quel volume più di 30 secondi io non posso ascoltarlo visto la troppa potenza (lo sto alimentando tramite xlr) quindi adesso mi devo solo divertire a cambiare le varie tipologie di valvole, di serie usa le 12au7 ma è possibile usare le 12at7 e le 12ax7 tutte per un maggior guadagno ed anche una risposta musicale diversa. Per me questo amplificatore è molto valido anche rispetto al prezzo di vendita, non posso che consigliarlo e ritorno a ripetere l'ho confrontato con il topping a30 pro e non sfigura affatto (d30 pro stadio solido) in definitiva non credevo emettesse tanta potenza, ma 2w si sentono tutti, per me oltre gli 80 di volume non ci andrei, per la salvaguardia del mio udito, ed il tutto con un segnale pulito e senza distorsioni. Ottimo prodotto.

xDuoo is a Chinese brand. In the world of audio the Chinese are at a place now where the Japanese were during the 70s ad 80s. They're making great products and extremely competitive prices. Don't disregard Chinese product because they're Chinese. If you do you will be missing out on a very good price to performance ratio.There is a version of this amp with a DAC but I always get separate components which is why I purchased this amp as a stand-alone amp. I like that it has RCA in/out and XLR inputs (from the balanced DAC). Then you have the single-ended 6.5mm and balanced XLR for your headphones.When you get this amp it will come included with a pair of Chinese tubes. These tubes are absolute crap and are provided only so that the amp is delivered in working order. You must, absolutely must, "tube roll", that is to say purchase a separate pair of ECC82/12AU7 tubes and install them immediately. I purchased a pair of JJ Electronics tubes which are quite cheap but are such an improvement that the TA-20 becomes a whole new amp with these tubes. If you get even better tubes then your experience will be that much better.If you own a pair of Fostex headphones like the TH900's which are notoriously hard to pair with an amp, the TA-20 (with the upgraded tubes) is a fantastic pairing. The TH900's are lively and fun on this amp, so much better compared to the THX AAA 789 solid state amp.You can also use the TA-20 as a pre-amp (RCA connectors) to your solid state amp. I use the TA-20 stand alone and I use the TA-20 as a pre-amp to the THX AAA 789. What a powerful combination! My Sennheiser headphones (HD650/800/800S) sound so much better! So much more power and depth to the music. You can hear the tube noise when no track is playing, which is normal and also depending on the tubes you're using, but that noise becomes indiscernible once the music starts playing.This little balanced amp is underpriced for its value in my opinion. And as with any tube amplifier, you can improve the amp more and more depending only on how much you want to spend on tubes. If you place and order for this amp, place an order for new tubes at the same time. Throw away the Chinese stock tubes and enjoy your new headphone amp!

Una pequeña joya del "chi-fi": diseño elegante y sólido (la carcasa es de aluminio anodizado) y un sonido espectacular. De todos los amplificadores de auriculares que he probado (y devuelto), sólo lo supera el Sennheiser HDV820, que suelo usar con mis HD800s. Pero el HDV820 es un aparato de más de 2000 euros...El amplificador llegó con una válvula reventada y fue sustituida de inmediato por los vendedores de Shenzen Audio.Absoolutamente recomendable como amplificador de iniciación al sonido de válvulas.
