Absolutely Love this Duffell Bag!
Eddie Bauer Expedition Duffel Bag is amazing used it for the first time going on Safari and it held up beautifully. Ease of transporting and maneuvering made it a delight to have, fitting easily into the overhead compartment of the plane. Looking forward to many years of use.

good quality, spacious
Used this for travel to Europe since we would be on and off trains and I wanted something easy to pull through the aisles. It was slightly larger size than I expected but good for 2 weeks plus of travel. This is a good quality product, durable. It also stands up on its end well without falling over like these bags are prone to do. Happy with the purchase.

Exceptionally Designed Rolling Duffel
The Expedition 3.0 is the perfect size for two plus week international trips. The bag is light, durable, and suitable in size to allow for an appropriate amount of clothing, and, room to spare for any travel purchases. The two exterior pockets are perfect in size and location for travel documentation, masks, meds or whatever you need close at hand. The adjustable straps allow for streamlining the bag when not fully loaded, and the interior bottom pocket is great for holding shoes or separating wet items from other contents. The moss green color is unique and almost exotic feeling. My only recommendation would be to more deeply coat the bronze colored metal corner protectors. After one 3 week trip one of them shows some scratches down to the silver base layer.

Too small? No!
I read the reviews before purchase. Primary complaints were the product was too small and the construction was not what you’d expect in an Eddie Bauer product. I disagree on both accounts. It is a rolling duffel bag. Fits great in the overhead. With the handles, it is much easier to maneuver. It is not as easy as a four-wheeler, but getting it into the overhead, car, hotel us easy. Construction does feel fine, but there is probably a trade off between light materials and extreme bag use. Works great for me.

Nice bag
I have only used the bag once, but it holds a ton of stuff. It also seems very durable. It is light weight and rolls easy. I wish it had a liner on the bottom inside section. Only thing I don't like is the price, I would say it should be priced under $200. Problem was I could not find another bag that fit my needs. If it breaks down, I will update my review, but so far it is great.

Holds a lot and sturdy
I got this bag as a replacement for one I'd used for a number of years. I wasn't sure about it when I first packed it for a trip. But there is plenty of room in the bottom compartment for 2+ pairs of shoes, and rolled clothing. Inside is plenty large for pants/shirts/under things. I really like the bag and it stands well on it's end. Zippers and such seem sturdy too.

NOT a carry-on .. too big
Great bag, but TOO big to get in the overhead on a plane.

Initially good, but fundamental design flaws: polycarbonate shell and nylon top come apart - avoid
I initially liked the Expedition 22, especially because it was really lightweight and the polycarbonate bottom shell looked sturdy - the telescopic handle and wheels were smooth and strong.BUT... this carryon baggage has TWO major flaws: (1) the seams between the bottom polycarbonate shell and the soft top (nylon) are not stitched together - they are only glued. (2) the main handles are attached to the soft nylon top and not to the bottom polycarbonate shell. Conclusion - after 1.5 years of semi-regular use (about 8 trips total) the hard shell and soft top are starting to come apart. This is a major disappointment.
