The Hampton Bay replacement kit was perfect for our ceiling fan and it works beautifully now! My husband installed it, but stated that he would have preferred the instructions to be a bit clearer. Over all he is thrilled that he can use the light, remote and fan again! We received it on time with no problems, only wish the price was a bit lower. :)

The ceiling fan was of high quality, so the customer wanted to retain because they loved the look. I shopped for and found what seemed to be the correct repair kit. Received, installed and tested. The customer was ecstatic I had saved the fan!

Excellent value for the money

I had 68” fan with the whole light kit. When I bought a smaller version it didn’t come with a remote light kit. The way my old home was wired, I couldn’t use the fan speed switch that came with it. So I looked at the connector on both fans and concluded that both had the same connector and pins. So I ordered this one to convert it to a remote. Everything was fine till I wanted to turn on the light. No light. After taking it back apart I noticed that one pin was different from the OEM. After some troubleshooting I found what wire went where. The bottom left of the one I purchased here ( right connector in picture) needed to be moved to the center. I went and grabbed my leftover pin extractors from when I was working on radars and moved the pin. Light now works as it should. Now I don’t expect most people to happen to have the tools and knowledge to correct the issue, just when you get yours, make sure the pins are correct before installing. Save you a bit of headache. This maybe a one off situation. Not sure. I never contacted the seller since I did make sure it did function correctly before I did the pin job and reinstalled. I’m overall satisfied with the product after the pin fix. I’m not saying avoid the product, just check the pin out. If you are electrical savvy you could get a “T” tap and go about it that way. Just I wouldn’t cut the fan side wiring harness. This is so you won’t have issues if you had to replace the controller again. I would buy this one again if needed.

Our Ceiling Fan would not run on Low or High. This replacement controller corrected that problem. Easy install.
