Happy Baby: Colors Hardcover – January 1, 2004

my 18 month old daughter LOVES this book. She loves looking through the pages and now she can even find certain things on the pages when I ask her.I had this book for my 4 year old when she was a baby, and I read it to her CONSTANTLY, and she knew all of her colors before she turned 2. I really think this book got her interested in learning. I will gift this baby book to anyone I know having a baby.

This is an absolutely beautiful book about colors. We bought it for our granddaughter's first Birthday. I would highly recommend it!!!

I read the reviews for this book and just had to have it for my twins. I was so pleased when it came. It is really well made, a good solid board book with a nice cover. The colors and pictures that represent them are just beautiful!! My kids took to it immediately and wanted to read it over and over again, and I enjoy reading it with them. This is going to be my shower gift or new baby gift for any friends or family from now on! You will not be sorry with this book!! (I also bought the "My Big Animal Book" by Priddy books, too, and it is just as stunning!!!) I am a devoted fan of these books now!

This book is the absolute best I have found for very young babies. I discovered when babysitting my then three-month-old nephew that he would stare at the babies in this book for a long time, especially given his age. When I got pregnant, I bought a copy for my daughter and she reacted the same way to this book that my nephew did. We started reading it to her when she was only a few weeks old, and for several months this was her favorite book--she got very excited each time we read it to her, and she'd often let us read it to her two or even three times through. That's a huge feat for a newborn! This is part of a series, and I have to say that this book was the best; the others didn't have as many pictures of babies, and that's really what seemed to enrapture my little one.

Great for teaching colors!

I appreciate that they have 2 pages dedicated for each of the colors, allowing for ease of focus. I feel like other really popular books can be a manic mess of colors everywhere.

This is the perfect book to teach a young baby their colors. Each page is one color group, with multiple objects that are that color. The pictures are of real objects (not drawn), very clear, and great quality.

This is a great book for our toddler!! Very entertaining and educational with bright colors.

I bought a used copy of this book, it cost me almost nothing, and I received a fantastic book. It is very thick with many colours. On the left side there are 3-4 smaller pictures, while on the right side there is a baby. I think this is a great idea because babies/toddlers love to see other babies. If you see colour red, there are red things on the right side and a baby in red on the left side. Lovely, really, it was tested by my 1 year old daughter, she "reads" this book every day at least once or twice.
