A bit too bright
I bought this so that I could see the time when my Google Home hub went from large type to small as dawn came. Unfortunately, even on the dimmest setting it lights the bedroom up like a lighthouse.Other than that it's OK. Just be aware before ordering

It’s FAR too bright!
Even when trying to dim the display as per the instructions, the clock illuminates the whole room. I found the display too bright to actually read the time in the night, which is the sole function I bought it for. I will be returning this product.
