What is the PreSonus Eris 3.5 designed for?

The PreSonus Eris 3.5 is designed for bedroom studios, video production, turntable and record player setups, and high-fidelity listening. Compact in size and sold as a pair, it delivers studio-quality sound with honest, accurate audio reproduction.

Do I need a separate amplifier or receiver to use the Eris 3.5?

No. The PreSonus Eris 3.5 features 50W of onboard Class AB amplification (25W per side), so no additional gear is required. Just connect your source and start listening with clear, accurate, studio-quality sound.

Can I adjust the sound of the Eris 3.5 to fit my room?

Yes. The PreSonus Eris 3.5 includes High and Low Acoustic Tuning controls that let you compensate for your room's acoustics and fine-tune speaker response, so you always get the most accurate sonic reproduction possible.

What can I connect to the PreSonus Eris 3.5?

The PreSonus Eris 3.5 accepts balanced 1/4-inch TRS, unbalanced RCA, and front-panel 1/8-inch stereo inputs, plus a front-panel 1/8-inch headphone output, making it easy to connect virtually any line-level audio source.

How does the Eris 3.5 differ from a typical consumer speaker?

Unlike consumer speakers that hype the bass at the expense of other frequencies, the Eris 3.5 delivers an even response from bass to treble so you hear your music exactly as artists and engineers intended, for a less-fatiguing listening experience.
