..I thought this title would be worth investigating. Frankly it is not - the treatment is disappointing to say the least - this is over-priced (!!) slim 'coffee table' tome. There is little evidence of new research & data. The 'enhanced illustrations' are mostly Tullis profiles lifted directly from the Jagdwaffe series..large photos reproduced over an entire A-4 side are blurred & indistinct...if you know nothing at all about the subject it might be worth looking at..otherwise avoid.

Argomento per appassionati. Il librò - in 2 volumi separati - è scritto molto bene e la lettura è scorrevole. Belle anche le didascalie delle foto ed il relativo commento.

I received this book just a couple of weeks ago and I can highly recommend it to anyone that has an interest in the air battles over Germany during WWII. It is broken down into parts, conserning many of the famous raids (1000 ship)and that of the Dambusters. It contains recitations from the combatants involved in the conflict.And numerous photos that I have not seen before.

Volume 1 of two ....excellent.

Well balanced account, well written, accessible and readable.
