Arrived today very robust quality onthe heavy side so ideal for flowers

Quite a large and wide one, so can hold a bigger bunch of flowers, whether real ones needing water, or artificial. This has that nice cut glass look about it and is weighty enough at the base to reduce the chances of overhanging flowers tipping it over. Current price is £17.99, so not as cheap as plastic sorts, but may be worth it for the nicer design.

The media could not be loaded. 🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹This crystal vase arrived nicely packaged and protected, which is just as well, as this is a very heavy vase. It is called a Tulip vase, but is also known as a trumpet vase. It has a thickened base for strength and stability. The crystal has a grey tone to it, and is highly textured.🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹When I first took the vase out of the box (which is no mean feat as it’s so well encased in foam), the first thing I noticed was the weight. It is well balanced so there is no fear of it tipping over.On first impressions, to be honest, I wasn’t quite sure whether I liked it or not. It is obviously well made, and although it is described as “grey” it has more of a smoky appearance. I cannot quite put my finger on what I’m not keen on, but I think it may just look a little too bulky.I have taken several photos and also uploaded a short video to demonstrate the vase. It is nicely finished, and the top edge is very smooth, but it’s just not as nice as I was anticipating. I have not deducted any stars for this, as it is purely down to personal preference, but sadly it just doesn’t appeal to me personally.Thank you for reading my review, and watching my video.

I was a little concerned about how well this would be packaged as it is a glass item. It comes in a polyurethane foam mould that is perfectly sized to the vase and provides about an inch or foam around all sides of the vase. It is such a snug fit that it took a bit of wriggling to get it out of the box.The vase itself is a really good weight. This is because not only does it have a decently thick base to it but the sides have a good thickness to them as well. The whole being reinforced by the bands of glass that run completely around the full height of the vase as a decorative detail. This makes it incredibly stable and unlikely to topple - ideal for tables or shelves in high traffic areas.Although described as grey the finish is more of a smoky glass in a cool hue so you can still see any flower stems or decorative beads used in there.I got this specifically for using with brick built bouquets and the bright ABS plastic colours look really good against the glass.
