These work. They work best if you have a center console to press up against. They work on my Dodge Truck.The plastic pockets are big enough for a phone.Plastic is stiff and tough. It should last.

Simple solution
I recently got a new vehicle and immediately dropped something in the gap between the driver's seat and the center console. Never had I experienced the "I can't reach it!" issue with a dropped item like I did in the new car. And that's what made me search for "gap filler" products on Amazon. Thankfully, I found one that works pretty well.When I ordered this "Car Seat Gap Filler Organizer, Universal Fit Car SUV Truck, Stopping Phone Key from Falling Car Seat Gap Filler, Adding extra storage space, Pack of 2 Black (Black)" I had what I felt were reasonable expectations on what to expect. I had already ordered this when I discovered a similar product - something with a more versatile and multi-function appeal to it. The other product arrived first and I was immediately relieved that I had already placed the order for this product. The other product, while nicer looking and more versatile, simply did not fit the gap in a way that helped. If anything, it kind of got in the way because it blocked the seatbelt latch and made buckling/unbuckling difficult.After having already tried the "fancy" gap filler, I was very happy that this one did exactly what it is advertised to do. It fills the gap and allows full access to the seatbelt connector. The long, narrow portion of the gap filler serves as a small container and I suppose you could keep a pen or something in it. Personally, I plan to keep the gap filler(s) empty. Instead, I anticipate being able to retrieve whatever I just dropped while driving.Currently this item is priced at $12.99, which makes each gap filler roughly $6.50. Given the hassle of otherwise not being able to reach *that thing I just dropped*, I'm happy to recommend this product to others.
