If it's in the hot sun for months it looses it,s stickyness.

Used this zipper for a small greenhouse. It was a little tricky to apply. Much easier with 2 people. I loved it at first, but after a few weeks the adhesive no longer works.

The adhesive was not enough for my simple greenhouse. Great concept but t didn't remain on when it got windy.

I liked the idea of this item to help control dust during a kitchen remodel. Be sure to use a new utility knife blade. I used an old blade on the first zipper which caused a ragged edge and tended to interfere with the zipper. I had to go back and trim the irregular cuts. I used a new blade on the second zipper and it worked much better. I will purchase these zippers again for dust control.

Our upstairs was totaled by the August '20 Derecho. We've had a plastic wall at the top of the stairs since then. We have zipped and unzipped them hundreds of times and they are still working great, helping to keep a dust and heat barrier while our upstairs is repaired. I highly recommend them.

Used the zipper for an entrance to a greenhouse with a plastic sheet end in the garden. I never knew about tarp-zips and this was an easy and inexpensive option that worked. The adhesive needed to be reinforced with duct tape. The heat and humidity generated by a greenhouse was a real challenge for the adhesive going through so many cycles. I'm sure it would work perfectly indoors out of the weather.

This was used to create a flap in the plastic covering my greenhouse. To create ventilation and coolness on sunny days, the installation was so easy, the operation of raising and lowering the flap was efficient and easy...I love this!
