Decent consumer level product but develop your skills because its not magic.
The tools are built well for a consumer product. It is more than adequate. I'm sure this will last me the rest of my life of dents. The first couple of pulls were great. Because my dent was large and involved a corner and a crease it was more difficult. It would work flawlessly on a dent in a panel. I believe it would also work well for a golf ball dent etc. although you have to "gently" tap down the high spots with the punches. Thats the real feness action required to do this well. Its not perfect but it works if you take your time and watch some youtube videos. I believe the end result is more a function of your skill than the tools. Mine looks good in the picture but if you look really closely you can see its flawed. Great for someone not knowing what they are doing but poor for a body shop quality expectation. Again its skill based. I can spend more time on it and take the panel off of the inside which I needed to do to achieve this result, and I think I could get a better result. The hot glue puller is great as long as it doesn't take a tremendous amount of force to pull the dent. On the crease of mine it couldn't pull hard enough and started to pop without getting much affect. The seller didn't put the punches in the original package and I had to contact them to correct it. They did so quickly and without issue and communicated well. I did deduct a start because of the lack of quality control this reflected even though customer service was good. I took the inside panel off and used the punches and other tools to finish it off. Finally I very gently punched down high spots and got an acceptable result. Good luck.

Amazing - it does work!
It actually does work! I have no experience with body work, and I managed to pull a bunch of dents out of my 1998 Civic that had been abused by two teenagers for 20 years. Now I am restoring it. I did not get perfect results but I don't have much time either, I need it reasonably good. However, I am confident that if I were working on something new that requires showroom condition, I would do it.

A good starter kit
Was interested in learning PDR and this kit seemed to be what I needed to get started. The kit was shipped quickly. Everything was included and well packed. Some of the items were high quality, others less so, but still acceptable. I have used the kit for about 12 hr. now and am surprised at how well everything works. I've removed a couple of dents about 90% so far. Think I can get them to at least 95% with more time and work.Pros: Really shocked at the quality of the hand dent puller. It is a well made and well finished tool. And, quite easy to use. Tip; a little lube on the center shaft makes it much easier to adjust.Number and variety of pull tabs included. Just remember to soak them in alcohol prior to use. They all seem to be tough and I'd expect they'll last for many, many, pulls. Also, the Seller's offer of free tabs for 3 yr. is a nice touch! The carrying bag is much nicer than expected. The spray bottle for alcohol is excellent. Well made and far better than any other I've seen. May seem like a small thing but you use it a lot.Microfiber cloth included is very thin. But, it seems to work better removing "glue strings" than any of my other microfiber towels. This is a good point to say....take the time to get glue strings off the tab before applying it to the dent. Glue strings are a PITA to remove!!Glue gun gets very hot. I have a cordless glue gun so I don't use the one included, but it seems to be a good one.Cons: Slide hammer knocker needs to be heavier. Proper technique is to pull on the T handle with one hand, then slide the knocker with the other hand. Even so, with good glue it can be hard to break the bond. I expected to use the slide hammer a lot. The hand puller works so well I quit using it. Still nice to have though. While the aluminum tap-down tool is nicely made and finished, the plastic tips are quite crude in comparison. They aren't threaded very well and a couple of them sit at an angle when seated.Glue sticks; At the same time I ordered this kit I ordered some extra Glisston glue sticks. They seem to yield harder pulls than the ones in the kit.Bottom line: This kit is a real bargain considering all you get for the money. I am well pleased with it.Other thoughts: There are two other items essential to PDR that aren't in this kit; a line board and dent rods.A line board is absolutely necessary to get a fully finished dent repair. I've made a temporary reflector board that works OK. An LED lighted board is best but good ones are several hundred dollars. Doubt I'll ever justify one of those. This kit will allow you to do glue "pulling". With this technique you work from the outside and "pull" the dent outward. The other technique requires dent rods. Using these rods you access the back side of the dent and "push" the dent outward. I've fooled with this enough to know that it's far more difficult than glue pulling.A final word, if you're not generally handy and comfortable working with hand tools don't even think about wasting money on PDR stuff. Read reviews for other tool kits on Amazon. You'll find that a lot of people buy PDR tools and are totally lost. Even if you're mechanically inclined and well experienced, don't buy this kit (or any other) and expect to get perfect results right off the bat. It ain't gonna happen. Start by watching every YouTube video on the subject. Get the basics of the process well in mind before you ever start. Learn how to apply glue to tabs, where and how to place tabs, how to remove glue, and how to tap down high spots. Do all this BEFORE you ever start work. When you do start, go SLOWLY. It may take a lot of pulls and tapping but you'll be surprised what you can accomplish.

Not as advertised!!
I ordered this product 2X. Both times the kit was missing the orange METAL tap down tool with all the different tips. Instead I received some cheap whitw plastic tap downs. Furthermore, the kit only came with the smaller purple pulls no larger pink ones. This is falsely advertised as far as I'm concerned. Never had this problem with any product on Amazon over the years. I hope this is not the new norm. Very frustrated with the whole purchase.

Contents not aligned with image description
Not sure why I have two sets of the small purple shapes and no sets of the larger shapes. Should I return? Also, the glue gun is blue, like the lower quality glue guns, instead of the higher quality yellow tool within the description and pictured.
