No complaints at all with these adapters. They make it incredibly easy to convert annoying GU24 pin fixtures into standard E26 screw-in sockets. They lock in tight, function exactly as they are supposed to, and provide great value for the price. Highly recommended

I purchased a primary source bathroom light about 3 years ago, & like the rookie remodeler I am, didn’t check to see what kind of light bulb it used. It had this oddball base that required a special bulb that cost over $7 each- ouch. I really liked the light so I sucked it up & just bought them. They lasted over 6 months each, good thing since there are 4 of them in the light. I went to purchase the next round of bulbs recently & my local store doesn’t carry them any longer. This is not good! I had 3 of 4 bulbs dead and no replacements. I turned to Amazon & while browsing for replacement bulbs, came across these adapters that allow me to use the same bulb I use in every other light in the house - score!! My only concern was adding the adapter might cause the bulb to hang too long in the fixture. The adapters arrived quickly & with no damage or issues. They insert into the fixture just like the base of the bulb I’d been using, just with no bulb attached. The LED bulb screwed into the adapter base just like it does on all my regular light fixtures & wahlah - light! The bulb doesn’t hang down too far either. I have fairly small hands so a person with bigger hands might need to screw the bulb into the adapter first & then insert it to get it into the light fixture. No issue with flickering, going dim or when turning on/off. I’m quite pleased with now being able to use regular bulbs in this light & the adapters were not costly either. As for how long the bulbs last while in the adapter? I’m at over a month now and no problems with a light that’s left on about 20 out of 24 hours. Thanks for bringing my bathroom out of the dark ages again!!

They work perfectly

This adapter does exactly what it’s meant to do: it converts a GU24 twist-lock fixture to accept a standard E26/E27 screw-in bulb. It’s a simple, practical fix if you don’t want to swap the fixture just to use more common bulbs. Build quality feels solid for what it is, and it’s made from a fire-resistant material. The listing also specifies a heat resistance up to about 392°F, which is what you want to see for something sitting in a light fixture. Fit is snug, installation straightforward.

You do not get anywhere near 10,000 hours from the "new energy saving bulbs" and you do not get near the light as with incandescent lights. Covert back and it is brighter and cheaper.

I replaced a few household lights with philips hue lightbulbs and was surprised to notice that most of my roof fixtures were GU24 type base so they wouldn't work. These adaptors solved the problem for me. Note: that this does add about an inch or so to the length of the base as a result so keep that in mind when purchasing, wasn't an issue for me though.
