I ordered the Suck UK Smiley Heat Changing Mug. This mug is perfect for anyone, not just dads. It is a normal sized good quality mug, black on the outside and white inside. When you pour hot liquid into it, the black fades to grey and a bright yellow smiley face appears. You get a face on both sides of the mug. When your drink cools down, the cup turns back to black again. This mug comes in a nice box and would make a good gift. I would recommend it to cheer up your day.

The media could not be loaded. This mug is matt black all the way around with white insides... until you add hot water. Then the smiley face is revealed on one side of the mug.It works really well and the colour of the whole mug and background changes as it heats up. Comes in a nice colourful gift box.I've bought a couple of Suck UK products in the past and they have all been really nicely made and presented. Very happy with this, brings a :) to my face.

This mug is completely black before you put hot water in it. Once you put hot water in the mug it turns into a smiley face. It takes a few seconds, so don’t be alarmed if it doesn’t do it immediately. Cute gift item for anyone of all ages. The box doesn’t say if the mug is microwaveable or dishwasher safe, but it will hold hot water with no problem.

This Suck UK Smiley Face color changing ceramic mug is a great design but the execution is disappointing. They shipped the cute box in an unpadded polybag. The box arrived banged up (as shown in my photos). Inside the box, the mug was only in a clear plastic bag-no tissue or padding. Sadly, unprotected the matte black surface got scratched in many spots. Based on the designer & brand, as well as the price I had expectations for very high quality mug.I appreciate that it’s made of Food grade Ceramic Stoneware &conforms to EU standards for “food grade” materials. So, I was surprised this mug was made in China.When my cup is hot(as shown after washing in dishwasher & filling it with boiling water, the smiley face appears but it’s more muted & not as bright like the images in the listing. I LOVE the design, but the quality and packaging not acceptable. It’s a bummer as I was thinking if I liked it, I would gift this mug (I mean, whose day isn’t brighter when they see a smiley face?)..but I can’t recommend until they improve quality control.
