Great compact travel booster
We recently traveled from San Diego to Connecticut for an extended weekend and didn't want to bring our regular booster seat to use in the rental car, we have a Chicco GoFit backless booster, since it was not compact and we were not checking any luggage.Pros:-Price is reasonable, compact/folds in half & comes with a travel bag, as well as easy to place on top of your wheeled carry on-Easy to fold (just pull the handle in the middle) and stow under the airplane seat or in the overhead if your child doesn't want to sit on it during flight-Child sits a bit higher compared to our Chicco booster-Great back up/spare seat & not too heavyCons:-Two plastic tabs that prevents booster from sitting flush with the actual back seat of the car (removed those before our trip-does require some effort & patiences, I used both a regular screw driver & a micro flat head to wiggle/guide the tabs out)-You really need to pull the seat to hear the lock and for it to engage. (After a couple tries, pulling it from the arm rests worked best)Overall, our child preferred the Graco booster compared to the Chicco since he sits higher . It is somewhat narrow compared to the Chicco seat. I've researched other travel booster seats like the mifold Grab & Go, inflatable ones, etc...but am happy I went with the Graco seat.

We love it. Sturdy but easy to transport
Easy to use. Not so small folded that it would leave much more space in a carryon suitcase for other things. But unlike the other ones that fold very flat, this one actually is sturdy and high enough to be a real booster and provide safety. For our toddler, this one has been the best option of safety and portability. Happy to sacrifice a bit of suitcase space to ensure my child’s car safety during travels. We also use it when he goes out with relatives who don’t have carseats for him or for school field trips. Much easier to move around and carry it. Many parents and teachers have asked us about this.

Great for short trips, not so much long ones
We used this booster (two of them) for a family trip. They are light enough we had the kids carry them through the airport and until we got to our rental car. Installs just like a regular booster.Going to and from the hotel to our daily activities (usually < 1 hour drive) there were not complaints or issues; however, we took a longer drive one day (3 hours) and both kids were complaining of their backside hurting. Could use a little more padding for those longer trips.Overall a good value for the money.

Great idea, crummy execution
What a great idea for a travel product and what a ridiculous way to execute the product design. When we took this out of the box, we immediately noticed two tabs that stuck out from the back bottom of the car seat. These tabs prevent the car seat from sitting flush with the back of the seat, creating an unsafe gap between the child’s rear end and the seat gap. My son noticed this issue immediately upon testing the seat.I was hoping these tabs would retract into the car seat (that would have made a ton of sense in the product design). Then I noticed two screws so I thought maybe the tabs could be removed manually but nope they are a solid part of the plastic base. What on earth were these tabs for?The directions say that the tabs are for if someone wants to buy the base and then a car seat back separately. What the....?!Why would anyone want to buy a booster seat and a booster back separately like that? This is a travel product. I’m buying it for the travel convenience not to rig together a booster seat in two pieces. If I wanted a high back booster seat then I would buy just that - a high backed booster seat for around the same price as his low backed booster seat. It doesn’t make any sense and this isn’t explained anywhere on the product packaging, just in the directions. As a result the seat works better in some vehicles than others. It was good in the back seat of a Ford F-150 truck and terrible in the back of a Jeep Cherokee.Traveling with it on an airplane was a breeze and it stowed nicely under the seat so we didn’t take up overhead bin space.Great idea, just not sure how this product passed child restraint safety standards with its poor design. We followed Tareyton's advice and photos and were finally able to remove the back tabs from the device. We used a standard Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws and then gently poked into the screw hole to pop out the tabs. Now problem solved...

Great Travel Seat
This was a savior in traveling across country with our youngest- both on the airplane and in our rental car. Super easy to install, super compact-able that it fit right under the seat of the airplane. With one push of a button it folds up and stores in the bag it comes with. With another light push down with your hand on the center of the seat it clicks into place and you’re good to place your child in the seat and buckle safely into your car!

Don’t Think Just Buy It
This booster is perfect for traveling or carpooling. The carrying bag it comes with is also perfect and fits under the seat on a plane and you can stash small toys in the bag for your child on a flight. Also great when your kid goes with the grandparents. My son is 7 and able to install it himself and thread the seatbelt into the red shoulder clip. My son was recently with him grandparents and they were impressed he was able to install it himself probably into whichever car they used for the day.Don’t think...just buy it.

This thing is awesome.
This thing is amazing. I wish we would have had these for all of our cars. We recently purchased it for our kids to pack in their carry-on luggage for a trip to Iceland -- and now it's their seats in our car. It's a way better travel seat than the blow up one -- much more comfortable. Our kids were in the car for Iceland 3-5 hours a day -- and didn't have a single issue. The cupholders are great and it folds up conveniently!
