A lot of choice around this point
Pros- decent quality build- plastics aren't too bad- heats up pretty quickly- also a little lightweight though- sits upright pretty well if you're needing thatCons- could do with a longer cable- the temperature adjustment on the top doesn't have a visual of what temp you're at- not sure on component longevity- 0-1-2 switch is pretty light, too light for my personal enjoymentIn this area of price, there's a lot of competition. Does this one do anything special? Not really. The stepless adjustment seems a little pointless without a reading. Not bad if you don't need a specific temperature and just use your hand or something. Could come in handy though in the right circumstances. The switch on the handle isn't in the best of places with how light it is. I can definitely see me knocking it around the settings quite easily if I'm not focusing. It's not as heavy as I'd like it to be.The cable is way shorter than I'd like to see as well so you will need an extension if you need distance. The attachments are fine although if you're not careful they will come off. Reasonable quality metal though.Stands up fine, I haven't had any issues on a flat and balanced surface. It's one of those products, in the price point where there's a lot of choice. Most of them will do the job if they have the features you need. It's better than average but I do feel hesitant to back it up on the longevity of component durability. It's a solid 3.8/5 for me. I've reviewed another Shall product before and that was a 2-3 star rating but this is a better tool of theirs. There's still better options out there but for twenty quid it's a reasonable buy and comfortable to use and hold.

heats up quickly, durable body, reasonable value. Metal nozzles low quality
PROS-gets hot, quickly-durable plastic body-long-enough cord (I always have to use it with an extension lead, so length isn’t that much of an issue for me)-reasonable valueCONS-nozzles very low quality metal, sometimes quite difficult to put on-photo 6 shows it standing upright. While the back is flat, the slightest bump the cord will cause this to tip over, best to clamp it.-since there is no indication of temperature, I’m not sure how useful the dial at the top is (make it hotter/colder, but by how much?)NOTES-it does the job (I rarely need a heat gun, but it’s nice to have an inexpensive one that does the job when I need it)-once you press the trigger to one of the two positions, it stays on. I’d much prefer a sprung rocker switch, so that when I let go, it turns off. Far saferMY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
