Just had it delivered a few hours ago. Tried it with my mobile (had to get a small OTG adaptor to get started). I also own the K480, and got this one because it has a touchpad. Comparing the two, both have unique features that I would not call positive or negative, because how one views a feature, or the lack thereof, depends on one's requirements. The plus-point of the K480 is that it connects through bluetooth, leaving the port free to charge the mobile (if you want to use it with your mobile/tab) or connect a pendrive to it. The keys are larger and better spaced out (important if typing comfort is a major priority). The K400 plus, on the other hand, requires the OTG adaptor, plus, the unifying receiver used to connect the keyboard to devices like the mobile, tab, or the LCD TV. The plus point of this feature is that connection is immediate. The minus point is that one must be careful not to lose the 'unifying receiver'. Also, if you forget the OTG connector, there is no way you can connect the keyboard to anything. The 'K400 Plus' is also lighter and slightly tinier: But comfortable enough for normal to large sized fingers to type without any obstacles. Unlike the K480, this piece has the touch pad. One main advantage of going for these keyboards ( be it the K480 and K400) is the amount of money saved...in my case, I saved 28K approx., the amount I would have to invest for getting a new laptop. And just didn't have the money to invest in one. Now, with this, I can complete most college assigments. And a couple of years later when my phone conks off, I can simply get a new smartphone for about 8-10K. If one calculates the interest accumulated, one has way more in one's hand than one thinks.

Using this product for one month now and I must say it is very good for it's intended usage which is "CONTROL PC-TO-TV ENTERTAINMENT FROM YOUR COUCH". I'm using this device mainly with my Desktop PC which is hooked up with a 40" TV running Win 10 Pro version...also tried with two Andriod Device which support OTG and this device work flawlessly. But the rest of the Pros/Cons section is focused on usage of Windows. Now the Pros :- 1. The Small Yellow button at the Upper Left Side is a LIFE SAVER - after using that I wonder every Laptop Manufacturer must include this. 2. Small compact form factor made it sure, that it can even usable by standing by holding in one hand and typing on the other hand. 3. Must have for your HTPC Setup or Raspberry Pi or Intel NUC setups - Where your typing usage is low. Cons :- 1. Not suitable at all for Long Typing session due to compact Key spacing. 2. At First Usage - During Typing even Password / Comment etc user tend to touch the Track Pad and the cursor moved from desired position, result select something or right clicked executed without intention...which is annoying but this issue rectified after some usage. 3. Logitech can implement something like when the key board section is in use - Track pad get automatically disabled...but they didn't hence the above problem exists. 4. Now the most worth mentioning problem is - Under Windows none of the Function Key work by default - You need to press 'FN' key to activate any Windows function key. Example :- FN+Atl+F4 = To Close Windows, FN+F2 = To Rename, FN+F5 = To Refresh....My question is why ? By default those function key are assigned for Android shortcuts which is for F2 = Default Home Screen, F1 = Back, F4 = Menu, F9 = Music Player, F11 = Play/Pause. Maybe this the way manufacturer saying it is strictly use for Home Entertainment system / Android base System. So far this is my findings and I rate this product 4/5 due to mentioned cons - but I like it what it offer and recommend it to the targeted audience.

I got this keyboard after a lot of evaluation. It was possibly one with the keyboard and mouse bundled into one. I liked the 480 wireless more because of its ability to switch between devices and also thst it didnt require a usb receiver but the track pad tilted the scales. If the 480 embeds a track pad, that would be ideal So far here is my view of the 400 1/ very ergonomic and easy to use. I have big hands and type quite fast and it works well for me 2/ the trackpad being on the right is initially awkward but once you get used, it is alright. Maybe, they can put it below the keyboard in the future. There is also a yellow button on the top left for enabling the left click which is quite useful 3/ no backlight light or caps lock indicator. However if you install the logitech software, you can enable a visible fading off effect on the screen which mentions whether the caps or num lock is being turned off or not. I have a picture of the same 4/ it is not very easy to type when you keep the keyboard on the lap but on a desk or on a flat surface (like a writing pad), it is awesome 5/ i also tested it with my mobile wirh a otg connect and it worked brilliantly 6/ it also has a power off button to switch off when not in use. Is very portable 7/ i use it wirh my surface pro 6 and this is much better than the expensive surface keyboard. 8/ uses AAA batteries. 1 year warranty and logitech clains a 18 month battery life Again this is based on the first day experience. Will report back in a few months on how did it hold up

works like a charm. Is very light and is the best in the market. it has a very good batter life I have dropped it multiple times. Its pretty sturdy. but the stand out point that it just works really really well and has a good range

I bought this keyboard as an accessory for my MacBook Air last month as a part of my WFH set up. I have a wireless Logitech mouse (M590) and so I wanted to buy a Logitech keyboard to have a unified device USB for both the peripherals. Considering the type of my usage, I zeroed in on this keyboard even though it was expensive. First impressions: The build quality is not great for the price it is offered but its lightness proved to be a blessing in disguise.. It connected seamlessly with the Mac as soon as I switched it on though the description said that it was mostly compatible with Windows and Android devices. Keyboard: As far as typing is concerned, it took me a while getting used to as the Mac keyboard does not have as much travel. However now I find it very convenient to use. Trackpad: One of the reasons I wanted to buy this particular model was the availability of the trackpad. I thought it would be very useful considering I use the trackpad on the Mac a lot. However, the trackpad is very slow as compared to Mac's and I rarely use it. I use a mouse instead. Problems After one month of usage, I found the following problems. Every time I booted up my Mac and connected the keyboard, it would not work properly. The keystrokes would type extra characters (see image attached). If I typed "o" it would print "qo" instead. If I typed "p" it would type "xp" instead. Similarly if I wanted to type Shift+p, it would not print anything at all. However after several switching off and on of the on button, and after 10 minutes or so, the problem goes away. But till that time, it is really frustrating and I have to switch over to my Mac keyboard instead. I have raised a ticket with Logitech and they referred me to the cleaning process in the support forums. I have already done that several times but the problem doesn't seem to go away. It could be just a problem with my unit. I am not sure if it is a known issue for other users of this keyboard but nothing (including a firmware update) seems to work.

Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Keyboard is one of the best wireless keyboards in its class. I've been using it for the past couple of weeks and it's been an amazing experience. So, as usual, let me start with the pros and cons of the product Pros - ==> Plug and Play. ==> It's wireless so you can keep your laptop at one end and operate it from another corner. (You gonna get lazier than you already are) ==> Unifying the keyboard and touchpad make it more convenient than having a combo of wireless keyboard and mouse. ==> Keystrokes are not very noisy ==> Gesture are really very convenient and better than my laptop touchpad(they have used/copied some of the Mac's features in the keyboard) ==> Compact and slim design gives it a premium feel ==> Light weight make it easier to carry around ==> Ability to change the function keys. You can use it as the standard F1-F12 keys or change it. Though you will have to install Logitech options from [...] it will also help you tweak the setting like: - Keyboard - Point and Scroll - Gestures ==> Placement of the Volume keys ==> If you own multiple Logitech wireless Bluetooth devices, you can easily connect it to the Universal receiver that comes with the keyboard Cons - ==> Using the keyboard at night without lights is a big issue ==> Keys like Num Lock, Print Screen are missing Initially, it may take some time getting used to it but once you do surely it would be an amazing feeling to use it. Truth be told I was very skeptical about buying a Logitech product which carries a price tag of 2K+, but it was worth the try. Note: Till now I've used the product only on Laptop and Desktop so I'm not quite aware of its performance on other devices. Also, it's been only a couple of weeks to talk about the battery life so I skipped that part. Once I do I'll update the review.

Logitech has not disappointed me at all. Considering the price and comparing with its competitors I found this is good choice for most of the stuffs. Let me tell its Pros and Cons so that it will easy for you to decide. Pros: 1. Lightweight and buttons are considerably good built. 2. Touch is great and you won't have any great issue with it. Usually people are afraid they might get bad touch response due to its hybrid nature, but go for it. It's great for daily use. 3. Its plug and play with all features like two finger scrolling enabled. you can of course change things using logitech options 4. It pairs with all your previous wireless devices and its wifi receiver can act as one master receiver for all of them. 5. Multimedia keys are there and touch pad has larger area than previous versions. 6. Although buttons are closer to each other, size is standard and with time you will get used to it. Cons: 1. Since its a compact keyboard, typing is slightly an issue as buttons are closer than they usually are. People with slightly bigger fingers might have issue while typing. 2. Although buttons are of fairly build, the keyboard itself is bit weakly build. The build quality could have been better. Final Verdict: For this price range, it is a good product. If you can get away with cons i mentioned, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

I have been using this keyboard now for almost 4 years and I have to say something that you guys wouldn't expect i.e. the original battery which came along with it is still not depleted and running good as day one (that's because I turn off the switch when I'm done using it). Its one of those great Logitech products which can be trusted for it's durability and it's expectancy. As far as compact wireless keyboards go, it's a good keyboard and the unifying dongle just makes it easy to replace if you have misplaced your USB dongle, the keys are good (as far as portable keyboards go) don't expect rubber membrane like typing or even Chiclet style because it's a totally different keyboard we are dealing with here. Most people wouldn't like the sound of typing as if you were pressing the keys very hardly even on soft touches. The touchpad is ok don't expect much, the company till to this date provides software updates for it which is a nice addition to it. I have successfully connected it to my Windows devices and also Android phones via USB. The connection and stability is excellent. Must buy if you want a simplistic keyboard.

Very useful keyboard for a media centre PC. Very handy having both the keyboard and trackpad in one unit rather than trying to find a surface to use a mouse on. Keyboard is good to type on. The unit as a whole feels solid but the plastic it is made out of seem quite cheap - which the product definitely was not! So the prices Logitech charge are a bit high but its the only media centre keyboard on the market so you just have to deal with it.

Very important detail. You would expect the dongle to be in the battery compartment, but it is actually on a flap on the box. Seller was very polite and helpful when I enquired about it. On an unrelated note, this keyboard works with the Logitech Options software, but Logitech Options, the program to configure the keyboard does not seem to work with Window 11. Just something to be aware of. The keyboard and trackpad will still work, only there won't be a way to reverse two finger scrolling direction. That is a Logitech issue.
