BIG WIND NO PROBLEM
If there's one thing we are experiencing weather wise in our new home near the Atlantic, it is wind. We're talking blustery, blasting, just when you least expect it wind. Anything in our yard that stands alone is subject to the wind. Will be using these ground anchors to stabilize a carport we have for protecting an antique car. The included nut driver quick change adapter makes for easy insertion and a strong hold. The eyebolt addition makes these perfect for our application. Easy in ,,,, Easy outBIG WIND NO PROBLEM

Functional, but not stellar
I don’t love these anchors. They are hard to get into the ground even with a drill and they aren’t too sturdy even after they’re in. They aren’t as durable as other anchors I’ve ordered, but they do as least help.

Weak and poorly spot welded anchors.
I was kind of disappointed when I opened the oily torn box and saw the way they were "spot" welded at only the two inside corner points of each spiral anchor. I laughed but then thought well, they must know what they're doing. The first anchor I drove in failed when the spiral blade completely separated itself from the shaft before it was even halfway into soft ground while using the included impact drive bit and my 20volt Dewalt driver and lightly on the trigger finger too. The second one I drove in by hand about halfway then used a small screwdriver thru eyelet to finish. That one pulled straight out of same soft ground area while trying to anchor a rope used to stabilize a tree branch. I ended up using a spare tire instead and it held. Yes, they do know what they're doing, but it's not welding, it's selling! I'll use the 11mm bit for something maybe and the anchors are just tarp weights.

Not properly designed.
The pitch of the blades is too steep. If you try to use a power drill with the provided fitting, you just churn up dirt without obtaining an anchor. You must use a hand ratchet, with a deeper socket (the one provided is so shallow that it slips off and rounds the corners of the stake) with sufficient downward pressure to obtain any kind of anchoring effect at all. On two of the anchors, the welds of the blade to shaft broke.I guess I shouldn't have expected any better quality for the price. I would recommend going to your local big-box store and spending a few more dollars if you need an anchor you can depend upon.

Well 3 out of 4
Finally got around to putting them in . Wouldn’t you know it , one of the blades snapped right off . I guess 3 of 4 isn’t bad .
