My 11-year-old daughter was ready for a bigger bike with some gears, and the Joystar Lubbock proved to be the perfect fit. It's an excellent option for kids transitioning from smaller/mid-sized bikes but not ready to go into an adult-sized bike. Even my 9-year-old was easily able to ride this bike with the seat lowered all the way down.The bike is a good size for her height (she's about 54"), but the handlebars could use a little lift. It would be great to have the option to adjust them to a slightly higher position for a more comfortable ride. The post allows for it, but you need additional parts to actually make this work. Either way, it wasn't a huge deal.The gears shift smoothly, making it easy for her to learn and practice using them. This will definitely help her transition to a full-sized adult bike in the future.The bike is well-made with high-quality parts, and it was a breeze to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and they even included all the necessary tools. The kickstand, which comes pre-attached, is a phenomenal addition and saves time and money by not having to find one that fits your specific bike.My daughter has been riding this bike all summer and loves it! She appreciates the versatility of the gears and feels more confident and comfortable on it compared to her previous bike. The neutral color is perfect for both girls and boys.One point to note is that there is no easy way to attach a water bottle holder. Brake not working wire keeps popping out. Trying to return but no longer have the box.

I put this together myself in about 40 minutes, maybe less. It came mostly assembled. I didn't need instructions to put it together as you can look at it and see where everything goes pretty easily. Its sized for an older kid or shorter adult. I am 5'1 and if I were any taller it probably wouldn't be comfortable, but as is it's just right for me. It's pretty light weight too, I can easily carry it up to my 2nd floor apartment.

This is a nifty bike for the little ones. It was easy to set up and looks great. Everything worked as it should and they've been having fun riding it around. I have no complaints.

Bike seems great! However we were sent the wrong color and live hours away from a ups store so returning is a huge inconvenience.
