This palette came well packaged and not one of the blocks were chipped or brokenThey come in a lovely display cork box and have a plastic slide sleeve to stop them moving about.On the sleeve it tells you what colours are in the selection.You can buy the colours separately which is greatI have used these colours with water and am in love with them ♥They are soft and have a tailored shape.This palette has the colours Red, Yellow and Blue which are richly pigmentedArtGraf Tailor Shapes are available quite a few other different colours in earth colours ranging from Black Carbon to Sepia and Sanguine and is also available in White, (i have them all and there isn't one that i dislike)They can be used dry or abit like an ink when diluted.I use it both waysThis in my opinion is a must purchase for any artist

I've been using the earth tones variation of these and absolutely love them so was sad to see that first time use of these ones resulted in two breaking with first use on paper. Seem to be more brittle than the other ones.

This is the Artgraf set of primary colours. Artgraf also make a set of 5 earth tones and a set of grey white and black. All sets are similarly packaged in a cork tray with a plastic sleeve. These paints are not graphite or watercolour, they appear to be simply wafers of more or less pure pigment. No pigment codes are provided. The pigments readily load onto a wet paint brush. These primary colours are vivid and opaque. The cork tray is not waterproof and colour will tend to leak through the cork base. The primary colours mix to secondary colours predictably. Overall, something of an oddity and dificult to place in the scheme of things. The earth tones set is probably more interesting although 3 of these are very dark.
