Good little book to give a brief outline of what it would have been like to work as a Victorian Chemist and Druggist. Full of photographs of items that would have been found in the Victorian Chemist.

I bought this book after watching and being fascinated by the BBC series Victorian Pharmacy. I wanted to know more and this book told me more

A very disappointing book - almost entirely about bottles and containers - almost nothing about the drugs they contained. Would be better titled "The Collector's Guide to Victorian Chemist Shop Containers".

This is a very good introduction to the subject. Easy to read and understand. Whets your appetite for something more detailed.

Its a very thin book
