Great introduction and great instructions.
The author provides a wealth of encouragement, an introduction to photographic tools and equipment, and post processing tools for budding astrophotographers that's easy to understand. The author also provides a great list of first targets along with settings for each. I'm just getting started and the book is helping me understand the processes and how astrophotography is performed. I'm looking forward to learning more and expect to refer back to the book as I grow into the hobby.

Very Interesting and Great Guide for Getting Started!
This book opened my eyes to a whole new world! It's not often that one can say that, but it certainly is true of this book. It offers specific recommendations for how to get started with astrophotography, a topic that is so foreign to me and most people that it is truly out-of-this-world! It was a fun read and I am feeling adventurous now.

This book is not helpful at all, and very likely AI generated
I just finished reading this book and it was a complete waste of time. As the other poster said, it’s certainly AI generated.Tons of the content is general platitudes that don’t help anyone get into Astro photography at all and sound so much like ChatGPT. Here’s an example paragraph from the book:“Remember: the journey into astrophotography is as vast and varied as the night sky itself. Each piece of equipment, from the simplest lense to the most complex telescope, offers a unique pathway to capturing the universe’s splendor. The settings and techniques discussed are your starting point, gateways to experimenting, and fine-tuning your approach to reveal the cosmos and it’s awe-inspiring detail.”That paragraph is been followed by two more paragraphs that are even longer that also don’t tell you anything. And literally whole pages are filled with the pros of going with one type of gear and the cons of going with it. And that is followed by the pros of going with the other option and the cons of going with the other option. Literally there is 100% duplication here. I flew through reading this whole book in about an hour because there was so much wasted space. There are also about five pages dedicated to star trackers used on spacecraft. Seriously?! That has nothing to do with astrophotography and I was confused how an author could even put that in this book until it clicked that this whole book is AI generated. And as the other poster of the one star review said, all the positive reviews of this book are within two or three day period.Avoid this book or just waste your money.
