I have been a bass fisherman for quite some time. I have caught crappie but I've never really targeted them.First, these hooks are sharp, needle sharp. The colors are bright which should draw some fish, although it had not worked for me yet. That is probably more to me fishing them incorrectly. For such a small weight they cast quite a ways. I am throwing them on a 1000 spinning reel with 10lb braid to a 4lb leader.The 2 things that I wish was different.....I wish it was a variety of sizes. As someone without crappie gear, this would have been a great start. Having multiple sizes would have helped me figure it out. In fairness, maybe that is not the intention and these a targeted fir the fisherman that knows what they want.The quality control needs attention. I should multiple heads that either had paint in the line loop or it was bent. It was probably 6 in total. It a huge number but if someone is buying these they will not want to deal.woth modifying them to use.

Works well for a little while. Then the metal comes loose from the jig head hooks bend on anything bigger than a crappie. not great

These 1/16oz lead jig heads are good quality and have green holographic slit eyes. There are 4 different jig head colors and you will receive 10 each for a total of 40, all for only around $8 which is an amazing value. The paint on the heads is good quality and there is a clear finish coat on them for protection from chipping caused by underwater rocks and debris. The eyelits on them are clean which is very nice so you won't have to poke holes through them which usually removes the paint on the eyelit also. The hooks are very sharp and have a "V" shape to them for a better hook up ratio, although they are thin which will be ok for catching crappie and smaller type fish but would probably bend out if fighting a lunker on one of these! There is also a wire bait keeper on the shank of the hook which is very useful in helping secure a soft plastic bait on to the hook and also keeps it from sliding down the hook. Based upon the good quality, and features of these small jig heads as well as the insane low price I recommend them to other anglers.
