I like this lighter a lot! I like the flexible neck, I like the safety cover for the on button. I used it to light a candle, a garden torch, a gas range, and each time it worked perfectly. You can use it in a windy condition as well. It comes with an USB cable so you can recharge the lighter.

Arrived just exactly what I expected. Nice quality, Easy to use and safe for small kids. As the kids growing up and going outdoors more, this is a must have item!

I bought this for my grandma because she likes to use it when she tries to light the stove and things. She thinks it's great and she said the head is very flexible and she likes it.

I'm a little in the middle on this product, there are some things I really like and others I'm a bit unsure about. I really like that it's a more contained 'fire' source and a easy to light one at that. I have fumbled with and clicked and clicked with the lighter ones, and this one has been lighting fairly quick and smooth. It's easy on the hand, quick and you can aim it where you want it [no crazy blowing flame, or wind blowing it out for that matter]. I like it's safety cover, and flexible head [though I don't overly find a need to adjust it]. Some of the cons I'm finding with it though, it doesn't seem to have a long life between charges. I have lit a candle maybe 5 times and started a small pit fire twice, which only took flicking it on maybe 3 times total to light the paper. During both those times it struggled a bit, and I could tell the charge was getting low. The last con is the charging...I put it on and it states to wait for the light to turn off. It said it takes like 4 hours I think [don't have box next to me, could say 4-6, either way it didn't go off after either]. I let it sit all night, and it's still wasn't off. I found it puzzling, so I wiggled wire and it goes off. Is it fully charged? Is it faulty? I'm not sure. Overall, I really like the idea of this product and usefulness, but it may still have some ways to go in it's development as a whole.

It worked fine for a while. But, as it would happen, as soon as it was past the return date, the arc stopped working. How we get a flicker on one side of the thing but not the other. It lights the gas fireplace but I wonder how long it will continue to function at all. The design is nice and its fairly solid. It would be nice if the goose-neck was a bit longer. Otherwise, it was fine while it functioned. If I am able to fix it I may upgrade the rating.

lighting needs a steady hand and good eyes, sometimes hard to hit the wick needs a computer to charge

This beam lighter is splashproof and windproof. After a quick 2 hours charging, I have used it more than 20 times. Good quality of the lighting function.
