Cover of circuit board around usb plug came loose in freezing temps. Added cold resistant super glue instead. Seems fixed. High quality light otherwise, internals looked well put together too. Shame about whatever adhesive they used.Love the colour temperature adjustment.Good to hang out front of zipped jacket for easy light when walking.

Ich hab hier ja bereits vor einigen Monaten die passende 10.000er Powerbank rezensiert (amazon.de/gp/customer-reviews/R4AFBJAG8C91O). Als dann Weihnachten nahte, bat ich das Christkind, mir das passende Leucht-Panel zu schenken. Das Panel deshalb, weil das andere Ding als Rundumleuchte für den Unsinn, den ich im Schild führe, nix taugt, weil in alle Richtungen und somit auch mein Gesicht scheinend (und dann blendend).Bevor Sie jetzt ob meiner langatmig ausgerollten Beweggründe wegschnarchen, komm ich lieber mal zum Hauptgang. Also: Die Lampe macht nahtlos weiter, wo die Powerbank aufhört.1) Auspacken2) Den Halte- und Wasserschutz-Plastikring aufs Gewinde der Powerbank drehen.3) Den Lampenfuß mit USB-Anschluss einstecken und dabei das angeheme ASMR-Feeling genießen, weil es sich so saugend einführen lässt und dann der Haken auf der Rückseite einrastet.4) Das beiliegede Mini-Dreibein unten in die Powerbank reindrehen, ausklappen, die ganze Geschichte aufstellen (oder aufhängen, zwischen den Beinchen is ne Öse)Einmal am Hebel gedreht, springt das Ding sofort an. Ich bin zwar kein Lampenexperte, aber ich hab hier ne 230-Volt-Baustellen-LED, die ist nicht wirklich viel heller. Der Drehschalter sorgt außerdem dafür, dass Sie die ganze Geschichte stufenlos so fein verstellen können, wie es die Situation erfordert.Und natürlich besteht auch das Ding hier aus dem von mir in der Powerbank-Rezension so hochgelobten Panzer-Kunststoff. Hinzu kommen noch die kleinen details, die aus nem guten Produkt ein geiles Produkt machen:1) Der metallene Drahthebel zum Einschalten und Regeln ist einklappbar, bricht der also beim Transport schon mal nicht ab.2) Die Vorspannung des Lampenkopfs war für mich schon perfekt. Hält, aber lässt sich trotzdem mit einer Hand kippen.3) In diesem Vorspannungs-Dreher ist extra ein Schlitz drin, weil man, falls das Teil mal zu fest zugedreht ist, wahrscheinlich eher nen Gegenstand zum Reinstecken findet als ne Zange.4) Das Kabel, das wohl konstruktionsbedingt von außen in den Lampen-Part geführt werden muss, ist mit irgendnem Stoff ummantelt. Sieht einfach wertiger aus als schwarzes Gummi.Ich bin jetzt nicht unbedingt der große Camper, aber ich hab schon gemerkt, dass ich die Lampe mittlerweile schon sehr oft im Haushalt geholt hab, wenn ich einfach mehr Licht brauchte - und sei es nur, um ne zu klein gedruckte Bedienungsanleitung zu lesen.Klar, dank USB dürfte das Teil auch mit anderen Powerbanks funktionieren, aber das sollten Sie eher so als Notfalloption betrachten, weil dann der Stecker alle Kräfte aufnehmen muss. Man merkt halt, dass die Lampe nahtlos für die Powerbank konstruiert wurde, aber dafür wirklich in Perfektion.Also:Sie haben die Powerbank, aber wissen nicht, wofür Sie die Lampe brauchen? Egal, kaufen, super-praktisch, Einsatzzwecke werden sich garantiert finden.Sie brauchen Licht fürs Camping oder so? Kaufen und gleich eine der drei Powerbanks in den Warenkorb werfen.Sehr geiler Stuff. Ich hoffe für mein armes Portemonnaie nur, dass die nicht noch mehr Zeug rausbringen (ja, das Solarpaneel kenn ich schon, aber ich hab schon sowas in der Art daheim).

I have been eyeing these for a while on amazon. The light design and the system it's a part of had me very curious. I took advantage of the Black Friday sale to get this light, the battery pack, and the solar panel. I'm still trying it out, but here's what I see so far.First, the light is bigger than it appears in the pics. That's not bad. It's an interesting design. The white panel, which appears to protect and diffuse the light from several large, bright LEDs, is a little larger than a standard credit card. It illuminates a wide area while using very little power. I would say this appears to be intended as a stationary light. You get it out, connect it to the power pack, and set it on a table or in your tent, and leave it alone to illuminate an entire area. You can carry it, but I'm afraid the light would be prone to damage at the connection point, no matter how durable it might be.Second, the design of the base is kind of interesting. It's built to only fit the Elecom power pack. The connection has 3 lugs that allow the two components to mate together, but limit what the light will connect to. You might be able to get a USB-to-USB extension cable to get around that limitation and run it from other USB devices or hang it from your tent roof. You can hang it upside down from the included tripod, which has a ring, but I think the power pack would put undue weight on your tent compared to using a USB extension cable. One thing I like is the designers reinforced the USB connection with a plastic retaining collar. You're not just relying on the USB connection to hold the light in place- you're screwing a ring down onto the power pack to secure the light in place and keep water out. That's a good idea.I kind of like the little wire bail switch, which resembles old gas-powered lanterns. When you turn it on, you have a positive click!, which I like. The light is bright. So bright, in fact, I cut out some red plastic gel sheet and taped it over the light to make it more night vision-friendly. It took 2x layers of red plastic gel overlay to tame the bright light. That's not a complaint-just my personal use case.I like the power pack this connects to and how it's intended to be an all-in-one solution for power needs. You can run this light on one USB connection and have a personal device wired into the other USB connection. Pair it with a multi-tip USB cable and you have a very good solution for lighting and power needs. Consider the red-overlay I mentioned for when you're in the field at night.
