Compact, easy to carry and comfy!
I bought this pad to replace an older Thermarest to see what new pads are like. Not disappointed! The pad is easier to inflate thanks to a new kind of inflate/ deflate valve. Just open it up and leave it and come back... then a few breaths is all it takes to keep it full! Comfortable and warm. Packs up pretty small, not as small as some Klymit ones but they inflate more easily and are definitely more comfortable and reliable.

Side sleeper? Back Packer? Need light reliable gear? This is for you!
Love this pad. Well worth the money spent. The first one I ordered would slowly leak out some air during the night but didn't totally go flat. I contacted Amazon and returned it with no hassle and they promptly sent a new one which is awesome. I am a side sleeper most of the time but can sleep in most any position. This makes it hard to find a good pad that will work with my size. I am 6' 2" tall and weight approx. 250 lbs so no pad is going to be perfect but this one is close. I ordered the large and it fits fine. Have yet to use this in my hammock but have already ground slept with it approx. 12 times. I would recommend using something under it to protect from puncture. The best way to sleep comfortably on this is to use an old blanket below it maybe doubled over and your sleep system on top. If you need more padding then double over a blanket and lay on top of the pad before you sleep on it. The surface of the pad is not slick so it doesn't seem to shift when you sleep. It does self inflate a little but requires a few puffs of breath to finish the job for me anyway. I like the pad a little more firm. Follow the instructions and open the valve to the pad, unroll it and lay it out for awhile. It will self inflate over time. Don't expect it to inflate all at one right before your eyes. I unroll mine at least a half hour before use. I do like the fact this pad is foam filled and has cell pockets of air. Very lightweight and not very big when compacted. Easy to pack with. This should work great in my hammock with my MSS sleep system. Well worth the investment!

Perfect for camping on the ground. Warm and spacious.
This was brought as my last matures for camping gave out after 15 years (from Mountain Equipment). It's very compact and lightweight. I've given it 4 stars as it doesn't fully self inflate, you do need to give it some help by blowing into it. Also, I do think ithis type of equipment is all overpriced but that's the way it is when buying named brand stuffSleeping on it was warm and comfortable. It was spacious enough for me (a 6'1 broad man!).

super light, great thermal qualities
Quality brand, super light, great thermal qualities. I pair this, my REI Igneo sleeping bag, and an OR Alpine Bivy all together in one roll up 4.5lbs combo that keeps me warm and comfortable.A note - the pad comes rolled up and it's been stored that way for awhile. This means it won't self inflate at first. Store it with the nozzle open unrolled and only compress it when you need to. Do this and it will self inflate each time you need it. Otherwise, manually inflate like a balloon.

Comfy and lightweight
Fantastic sleeping pad that makes camping that much more enjoyable. This is the second one I've purchased--the first for me and this one, for my sweetheart. It rolls up easily and inflates with little effort. I've had mine for 6+ years and it's still in great shape--after burning man and dozens of nature adventures.

Good for a few days and then it blew out.
Going on a 30 day camping trip, so I figured I'd pay $90 for a high-quality pad for the trip. For the first 8 days I was glad I spent the money - my 160 lb. frame was very comfortable. On the 9th day, the glue that holds the top layer to the bottom layer started to give out and the insides started to bubble outwards making the pad uneven. It started off small but constantly grew to the point where I couldn't inflate it. I ended up sleeping on the ground. And, because I was in northern Quebec for 30 days, my window to return it was shot, so now I'm stuck with a $90 plastic sheet.Total waste of money. Had I known, I would have just bought a regular pad.

Hell to the yizzus
No more air pump. No more 10 minutes to inflate your mattress and it deflates and tacos halfway through the night....Blows up in 30 seconds and keeps you off the cold ground or sharp rocks. Folds up small to easily fit in your pack or to strap on top.Win win win win. Highly recommend. Have used it on 12 day canoe trips, tons of 3-5 day trips to the desert, Baja trips etc..etc... It's worth every penny.

Initially very comfortable and compact
Initially very comfortable and compact, but after using it a few nights it developed a bubble that continues to grow. This is a major defect that has made it much less comfortable. The bubble continues to grows when I lie on it.

Comfortable inflatable sleeping mat.
This mat is only 2.5 cm ( 1 inch ) thick and most suited to backpack camping where it does not reduce the head height by much in the tent, whilst providing insulation from the ground and a comfortable surface on which to sleep.Self inflating and with a wing nut system for fast deflation, this mat is compact when packed in its stuff sack.It weighs only 606g
