SL-180 Lockbox Over The Door, Black Medium

This fits very nicely over our door to hang our lock box. It cannot be pulled off from the outside. Well, I suppose if someone was very strong and very tall they might be able to force it off but I don't see how. We are very impressed.

I’m using this. On the side of the door because it easier for me to reach it so it has been fine but I’m noticing a slight difference in the door not really noticeable just mostly cosmetic issues I can definitely deal with that the product is a well made item I totally recommend it if you’re considering one you should get it!

I am a realtor and this was perfect for hanging my lockbox on a door that did not have a lock that would allow it. It fits over the top of the door, still allowed for the door to close easily. My Sentrilock box did have a little bit of trouble getting through the opening in the hanger, but I was able to push it through with some force. Still worked great and was just what I needed!

I was going out of town, and I needed someone to drop in to feed my cat; however, I live in an apartment building, and I only have one key fob. This allowed me to attach a lockbox to it and put it on my door so my sitter could access my key fob and leave it in the lockbox when I returned. It’s very convenient!

I saw some really weird reviews when I was looking for something to secure my lock box to a lever door handle. One of my neighbors has a cool looking lock box with a plate to secure it but I couldn't easily tell what model it was. Settled on this item and seems good enough. The hook part is quite wide so I imagine it would fit thicker doors. Too narrow of a door might be a challenge because the weight could pull it over? It does have a small hole to be nailed or screwed into place. I have a left handed door, I don't think it matters but I placed it on the top right to keep it under the door frame when opening. Lets call this thing a metal bracket... Its very sturdy, I'm not sure where the person a few reviews back could pull at the bracket part and bend it? There is no way. We must have received different products.

When the doorknob does not allow lockbox installation, hanging this over the top of the door has worked at a couple of locations. secure except as a RE agent, retrieving the box after selling the home requires access to the home since you need to open the door to remove this. One extra step compared to just swinging by to take it off door knob or exterior feature.

It works and it holding up so far. It keeps the key pretty high up on the door so if the user if short or disabled I would not recommend but it's for the police and fire any way.Its a great secure way to have an accessible key without having to drill a box to the wall. Perfect for apartment, rentals, B&Bs, elderly communities, homes for sale.... and more lol

This is a great product that falls into the "why didn't someone think of this before" category. We needed to put a lockbox on the door of an elderly relative who is living alone, so emergency responders could get quick access if needed. You see a lot of those lockboxes in Florida. Problem is that they normally hang around the doorknob, where they get in the way and serve as a constant reminder of unpleasant possibilities. This nifty bracket let us hang the lockbox way up at the top of the door, out of the way. The metal "loop" is large enough to accommodate the lockbox hasp, with the added advantage that the natural "V" groove seems to snuggle the lockbox securely into place where it doesn't bang around when the door is opened and closed. The metal is strong; I'm sure someone could cut through it with the right tools, but it would be easier for them to smash the lockbox open, so the bracket passes the test of not introducing a weak point into the system. Best for lockboxes that are intended for infrequent, emergency use, not everyday use, since the bracket puts the lockbox way up at the top of the door.

Fits great on the door with the lockbox attached. It’s not in the way of the door handle which I was looking for.Made of durable metal not able to break off the door.

The loop where you insert the top portion of lockbox is a little to small. The entire bracket doesn’t hang low enough.

Didn't slide around over the door to cause any scratches. Fits the lock perfectly.
