I bought this for my Mom. She had one before this one and wore it everyday! Yes it works! She even wore it in the showerneeded a new one because the clip broke but otherwise it is a great security devise for her.

This product is attractive and sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately customer support is non-existent. Three emails to support have gone unanswered. No phone chat or phone number is available from the package, product information, or company website. It is important to know that the cell phone with the Revolar app must have google map installed and the google map privacy setting must be "always" for the Revolar Instinct to work properly. If these two details are not present, the alerts sent to contacts will not have a functioning map location for the person needing assistance. Product information, product website and product support are poor.

Their customer service is terrible. It stopped working after we had it a week, and we put in a couple of help requests, but we NEVER received a response. We deleted the app and reinstalled it and then it started working again. This device is tied to an external service which means that you cannot depend on this device for personal safety. The odd thing about it is that the smartphone app can be built so that it can send SMS messages with GPS locations by itself without depending on a service, and that would make it more reliable for personal safety...

We purchased this product for my daughter that has epilepsy. It worked for about a week and then stopped. We made numerous attempts to contact the company to get it fixed and they never responded. Poor product and even worse customer service.

I hate to post this disappointing review as I had the highest hopes for this product. The company and owner are amazing, and I want them to be successful. However, the product itself it unreliable and very frustrating, to the point I don't even want to use it anymore.The first button I had continued to un-sync with my phone. I would constantly have to re-sync it, which was a process that would take anywhere from 5-30 minutes. Deleting and re-downloading the app, creating a new account etc. It was time consuming, annoying, and unreliable. Finally, after six months or so, it stopped working altogether. It took me sending several emails to the support team to finally get a response, which I did, from the founder of the company. She is amazing and has the best intentions for this product. She sent me a brand new button, which stopped working completely after less than two weeks. It won't even make a sound, won't sync with my phone etc. It's completely useless, and a waste of $80 to be honest.I would also like to have a personal safety device that works without needing to be within arm's reach of my phone. What is the point of having a handy little tracker if I also need to have my phone on me?

One star, down from the five stars I wanted to give it. but now its dead no sounds N O T H I N G! we tried resetting it, no beep. The single beep lets you know its working. it was very dead. I contacted technical support Logged into the Revolar website, clicked on the help button lower left of the screen. Opened up a dialogue to send a message to technical support. The site informed me I would hear from then within two to three day. NOTHING. I sent an email to the support site, received a message back informing me I would receive assistance shortly NOTHING. This is sad. I now see ads for Revolar all over the place and two sites here on Amazon. Folks are buying this device. if support, when needed, is not given its just a waste of money. Look for this review on the other Amazon site also. t continued to work and Technical support lived up to their charter I purchased this for my wife. She fell in love with it. as long as her cell phone was in the same room or very close, if she fell or had a problem, her Revolar pendant would find me or my son to come to her help or call for first responders. I even purchased a sterling silver chain for her to hang it from her neck. She could hide it inside her clothes or show it outside. It did its job until one day recently it needed a new battery, we thought. I purchased a pair of batteries, put one away for future. followed the instructions to install the new battery.
